We go through the first events of Octavia Butler's novel "Parable of the Sower". I'm loving it so far, but TW: mentions of rape, murder, and drug use.  I'm trying to do it less chronologically so that I can jump around and go on tangents, but I'm worried I may have been too loose and was all over the place. We finish John Green's Turtles All the Way Down, and we finally hear a character say the title! I liked the book plenty, and think it was a marvelous first book for this podcast. Next week I'll either be starting It Devours, or Parable of the Sower.  Turtles All the Way Down is written by John green and is published by Dutton Books/penguin. I don't own anything about it. Just reviewing it.
