UConn wins the men's national basketball title again. And just like last year, they still aren't Blue Bloods. UConn might be likeable if Dan Hurley weren't a raving psychopath. Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark and Iowa are launching the women's game to never before seen heights. Could the WNBA be next with a Caitlin and Angel version of Magic and Bird? See you again in August!

Connecticut is just two victories away from defending its NCAA college basketball title. So why is Dan Hurley still whining about every perceived slight? NC State's Cinderella run continues, 41 years after Jim Valvano's Survive and Advance. Plus, Alabama's speed and Purdue's size are still alive. 

The ACC surprises with four teams in an otherwise expected Sweet 16. Now we have a 2023 Finals rematch, a potential Caleb Love vs North Carolina return, and the best team in the nation against the most hated team in the nation.

The NCAA tournament committee claimed they spent all weekend with little sleep to develop the NCAA tournament bracket. With Virginia in it. They apparently needed more sleep and less time. But after the most chaotic conference tournament season in many years, welcome to the 2024 March Madness.

With a week to go before Selection Sunday, conference champs have questionable motivation during tournaments. Can Indiana State and Cream Abdul-Jabbar get an at-large after losing to Drake? Carolina sweeps Duke, and might have a # 1 seed in its sights. Plus, Bracket Challenge time!

Name programs have picked the wrong time to fall apart. Indiana uses the trusty fire alarm gimmick to beat Wisconsin. Bonkers finishes from Colorado Springs to Muncie to Farmville. And a victory--finally--for Mississippi Valley State.

The show goes off the rails early, thanks to Kyle Filipowski's inability to get pout of the way of a Wake Forest court storm. Somehow it goes from there to a tribute to Ole Anderson, Empty Arena wrestling matches and a classic live reaction from Mikey during the North Carolina/Miami game.

Detroit wins and gives us a classic court storm. Purdue loses and continues to show its flaws. Speaking of flaws, we present the SEC. Connecticut continues to win, as does--surprise--South Florida. And we pour a few out for Lefty Driesell and project 16 with a month to go before Selection Sunday.

East Coast Bias is exposed on the same weekend as the Great Super Bowl Fix. The SEC will not have 10 teams make the tournament, Gonzaga is not in fear of missing March, Kansas can't win on the road, and Coach K still cannot drive in the snow.

Even the best can't win at Kansas, and the best isn't Purdue. Kentucky has serious issues, and Gonzaga is no longer the top dog in the West Coast. Plus, a tribute to the actor who's bravado created one of the greatest movie characters of all time.

Winning on the road is tougher than ever, as Arizona, Auburn, Colorado State and numerous other ranked teams have learned this year. Without football, Saturday has wall-to-wall super games. And Friday's Big 10 marketing gimmick has a name.

Kansas and Duke both fall on a glorious day of college basketball. Blake Hinson dances on tables, middle fingers are as common as double-digit comebacks, and fans mock the weather to see their favorite teams. Plus, where else will you get information on IUPUI, Detroit and Mississippi Valley State?

 Three final unbeatens take losses after the New Year, and the top three in the nation combine this week for four losses. Who's going up (Nebraska, North Carolina and Stanford) and who's going down (Florida Atlantic, Gonzaga and Colorado State), among a massive college basketball recap. 

Michigan prevails in the national title game despite home-grown Harbaugh controversies. Nick Saban retires after ruining college football. and the game will never be the same.

Millions of viewers saw a pair of fourth-down stops advance Michigan and Washington.  Can Michael Penix work his magic against the Wolverines?  An underwhelming bowl undercard was supported by edible marketing campaigns, but a future expanded playoff may be the end of the bowl season. Plus, whip around the basketball court to catch up on holiday happenings.

 The Big 12 gained the most from football realignment, and could put 10 teams in the NCAA tournament. The Pac-12 has Arizona and possibly no one else. The ACC has reputation issues from the past few years. St. Mary's could knock off Gonzaga in the West Coast. And more Cinderellas in Grand Canyon, Princeton and McNeese State. 

Transitive property tells us Chicago State is better than Purdue, so the 2024 college basketball season is wide open. We discuss potential Cinderellas like Purdue-Fort Wayne and Indiana State, unbeaten James Madison, a redesigned American, and whether depth means title aspirations for the Big 10 or the SEC.

Measuring portal transfers and opt outs turns into a mass of underdogs and overs for the final week of the bowl season.

Purdue regains the #1 ranking by beating Arizona in a game that did not help Peacock. Houston is unbeaten, in the Big 12 and still disrespected. In fact, Mikey either predicts the Cougars demise or national title victory. Michigan State saves its season with an upset of Baylor. And Connecticut is still pretty good.
