    A new Israel Democracy Institute analysis of a Central Bureau of Statistics survey has found that 28 percent of businesses in Israel used AI in the past six months as part of their business activity. Among those businesses, 60 percent say that certain tasks formerly performed by humans are now performed by AI. Of these, 44 said this relates to routine and technical tasks only, while a smaller share, 16 percent, said it  does "tasks that require thinking."
