Shortly after the start of the Gaza war the Foreign Press Association, which represents the foreign media working in Israel, petitioned the High Court, asking that journalists be allowed to enter the enclave.  Israel is still denying access, except for  limited tours accompanied by soldiers from the  IDF spokesperson’s unit.
