Hansen House, the historic Jerusalem building that currently serves as a cultural hub, once housed what was known as a leper asylum, a site that fascinated and mystified the public. For Rivka Gita Regev, the architectural marvel was home. During the 1960s, she lived in the compound of what was then known as the Hansen Government hospital, where her father served as the volunteer resident physician.
