What does it mean to be a person after God's own heart? And am I one? Can I be one? God's eyes are going to-and-fro looking for someone whose heart is after His, and He's going to show Himself strong on their behalf. Cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches and desires for other things will choke the Word of God out of our lives. We can't get rid of the cares of this world, we all operate with money in our lives, and have desires for other things, but the problem is when these things "enter in." It's when the cares of the world stop being AROUND you, and they get IN you. The only thing that's supposed to be IN you - is the WORD. When Elijah was taken up to heaven to be with the Lord he asked Elisha what he wanted from him, Elisha asked for a double portion of the spirit that was upon Elijah. Elisha went on to perform double the miracles that Elijah did. In the New Testament Jesus told His disciples not to go out until they were indued with power. Sometimes we can hoard things in our hearts, things like offense, unforgiveness, preferences, and many more, and we try to fit God in between all of the stuff that we are carrying around in our hearts. We have to learn how to get rid of all the bad things to make room for Jesus. He doesn't want to be fit in among everything else, He wants to be the one thing that takes up the most space in our lives. Let's make room for Him to take up space in our hearts! There are a set of attitudes, values and goals that match the Kingdom Culture - Heaven, and the same is true that there are attitudes, values and goals that match the culture of the kingdoms of the world. Satan has a counter culture to the kingdom of heaven's culture, and his goal is to get us to believe that we can live without God, and once we believe we can live without God, we worship ourselves, and adopt Satan's culture. God’s original intent was to meet with us. When He came to meet with the Israelites in Exodus they were afraid of the presence of God and asked Moses to speak to God for them. They liked the idea of doing things for God but not the idea of meeting with Him. The Bible says we should serve the Lord with fear. We need to have the right kind of fear. Our fear causes us to pull away from God but God’s fear causes us to draw near to Him. He wants to meet with us wherever we are, even in fear! When Jesus was crucified darkness settle on the Earth in the middle of the day and the veil that separated us from the presence of God was torn from top to bottom. Jesus was sealed in a tomb by a stone, He was in complete darkness just like the Earth. On the third day, He rose and the stone was rolled away and His light was shining in the Earth again. The light overcame the darkness! Darkness will bring uncertainty, fear, and depression but the light, Jesus, will always overcome. Even now when all hope is lost, even now in your greatest defeat, even now when there seems to be no way out stay connected to your source of light Jesus will show up! One year ago, God spoke a warning about being lethargic and the darkness that we face in our lives, today He spoke an encouragement about the light we have within because of Jesus! The Bible uses a lot of symbolism, it will then be explained in straightforward literal terms. Daniel and Revelation are good examples of this when they refer to the harlot riding the beast. The beast is coalition under the leadership of the Antichrist and the harlot represents the city that will hold an influence over the Antichrist kingdom. What the city, harlot, used to control will eventually turn on her and burn her with fire. Nothing will be without judgment. God is the one who brought us out of who we used to be, you didn’t do it on your own. In Psalm 81 He asks us to open our mouth, life, wide and He will fill it. When we open our life wide we should be making room for Him in our hearts and the possibility that comes with Him. The space you do not make available God will not fill until you begin to choose to push the away the junk that fills those spaces. He wants to fill us but making space comes first. How should we communicate in our relationships? Having a transparent, open approach to the way we communicate with a spouse, children, and even in our friendships creates a safe place for us to share what’s in our hearts. When God created Adam and Eve the Bible says, they were naked and unashamed. It was not just referring to physical nakedness but emotional and spiritual nakedness as well. We can be completely open and transparent with God, it’s a safe place with no judgment on the way we feel. With the right people in our lives, we can be open with in a similar way!

We have to leave our political alliances behind, regardless of which party, when they do not fall in line with what the word of God says. God made it very clear that His support is always with the nation of Israel and ours should be as well. The antichrist is going to raise up an army out of the middle east and wage a war against Israel. The seven Empires mentioned in Ezekiel 38 will be part of this army and will be led be an eighth Empire. We are given a lot of information pointing to the nation of Turkey and its leaders who will in turn bring the Ottoman Empire to power again. Where is your source of truth? God is spirit, He breathed His spirit into humanity when He created us. Our spiritual being directly affects our natural lives. We have to work on our spirit and fill it with truth from the correct source, God, in order to change our outward lives. There are other spirits that exist that are not of God. Do not believe every spirit or person that claims to be of God instead, test them. Our source of truth should come from God!
