Sinopsis
The long and short of it is that the three of us started getting together every Wednesday morning to drink coffee, take a break and figure out how we were going to make an impact (and how we could work together to do so). We called it 'Solving the World's Problems Coffee Hour'. We chatted about all kinds of ideas: research, new workouts, combining things, and crazy ideas we heard on podcasts. Then it dawned on us. We should start a podcast. Yep, that is how we thought we might be able to make a dent into the worlds problems (it all starts with a dent, right?) So here we are now. Several months of planning, brainstorming and politely asking Kyle's friend Justin (the awesome AV guy) if he could help us out. So what it's all about is that Clinically Pressed is going to be a traveling podcast and we will be recording on location. We are going to interview experts around the country from all health/nutrition/performance professions as well as include round table discussions covering major topics and questions. Our goal is to provide as much information as we can that is useful to viewers/listeners, and do it all at no cost. We want to make the complicated simple and make it something you can apply to your life. We hope you enjoy!

12/04/2017 Duración: 01h29minEver put a bag of ice on a bump, bruise or injury? Have you ever really ever thought about why you put ice on it? Gary Reinl is on a mission to show us all why icing is an illusion and something that has been done for far too long and really for no good or evidence backed reason at all. We challenge you to listen and really challenge the ideas you've had when it comes to this argument on using ice or not. Do we do it because we always have? Could we do something better? Should we? Check it all out in the episode. Enjoy. -CP PodSquad --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clinicallypressed/support

CP Short VI: Athletes and Recovery-When and How Much?
05/04/2017 Duración: 17minIt's been a very hot button issue in the professional leagues lately especially the NBA on giving players nights off for 'rest'. Here AJ and Joel talk about why recovery can be important for optimal performance and try and address a side of the argument that isn't fully being covered. Ep. 19: Journey Active
27/10/2016 Duración: 55minJourney Active is a new type of health and fitness business in the La Crosse area and their story is very unique. We got the chance to talk to the husband and wife founders Kevin and Devan Weis before they opened their doors on October 31st. It is a very interesting concept and breaks the mold when you compare it to most gyms or fitness centers that you think of and they focus on more than just getting you to get strong and lose weight (which happen in the process). These two are very impressive and we can't wait to see where they go and follow up with an episode later. Enjoy. -CP PodSquad --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clinicallypressed/support
