    The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Atlanta Hawks 132-119 in a chippy contest Sunday night. Quentin Grimes again led the 76ers with 26 points while Justin Edwards contributed his second straight 20 point performance scoring 22 on the Hawks. The Hawks built a 16-point lead in the second quarter but the Sixers were able to cut that in half 3 minutes into the third. That's when Guerschon Yabusele hit a jumper to cut the Hawks’ lead to 68-60. That’s when Atlanta’s Zaccharie Risacher started knocking down shots, scoring 16 of his 22 points in the quarter.   Risacher’s shooting wasn’t the only thing heating up in the 3rd Quarter as former Sixer George Niang started to trash talk Quentin Grimes. Later Niang was issued a technical foul for taunting and making gestures to Sixers players. Trae Young was also T’ed up for inciting the crowd to cheer against a referee’s call. It was Sixers coach nick nurse though that started the technical foul trend as he was given a technical foul for arguing with the official 90 seconds

    The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the San Antonio Spurs 128-120 despite having four different players finish with at least 20 points in the loss. Quentin Grimes and Justin Edwards led the way with 25 points each while Guerschon Yabusele chipped in 23 points and Ricky council came off the bench to drop 20 points in 24 minutes. Grimes also contributed a career high 10 assists to give him his second career double-double. The Sixers struggled to stay with the spurs in the first half but came out firing in the third quarter outscoring San Antonio 43-27.     The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night, 133-100, despite MVP Candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander getting the night off.   Quentin Grimes did his normal thing of leading the team in scoring he dropped 28 points on the night including ten in the fourth quarter. New-comer Chuma Okeke scored 14 points along with a career high 15 rebounds.   The Sixers did try to make a game of it in the second quarter when they pulled it within six thanks in large part to a 19-4 run. But OKC ended the quarter on a high note going on an 8-2 run in the final minute of the first half.     Despite a career night from Quentin Grimes and as much as a 25-point lead, the Philadelphia 76ers loss to the Houston Rockets 144-137 in overtime Monday night. Grimes and company built a 78-57 lead by the end of the first half, but watched all that slip away as they were outscore by 21pts in the 3rd quarter.   The Sixers fought back in the 4th quarter opening the frame with a 10-0 run, but the Rockets would not go away. With 3:52 left in regulation the Sixers found themselves up by 10 again, but again they would blow it.   The final nail in the coffin came with Philly leading by 3 points with :09 remaining. Grimes, the hero for most of the night committed a costly turnover that led to a 3-point Rockets play to tie the game.     Quentin Grimes led his new team the Philadelphia 76ers to a 130-125 victory over his old team the Dallas Mavericks! Grimes dropped 28 in the win to go along with 6 assists!   The Sixers had plenty of struggles in the 2nd quarter, allowing the Mavericks to open the quarter on a 16-4 run. Then with about 5 minutes remaining in the quarter, the Sixers started to fight back. Grimes hit a three with :15 seconds remaining that pulled the Sixers to within 4 before the break. In total the Sixers reserves scored 78 points in the win second most bench points in franchise history. With Guerschon Yabusele and Andre Drummond only playing 22 minutes combined on the evening nick nurse went with rookie center Adem Bona for 32 minutes, and the rookie Made his coach look real good! Bona recorded career highs with 14 points 14 rebounds and five blocks. Lonnie Walker the 4th led the scoring efforts off the bench with 25 points while also pulling down 11 rebounds. Quentin Grimes who started for the Sixers tonight, also scored 25. In a race for lottery picks the Sixers started out the game slow, allowing the jazz to build as much of A 16 point lead.
