76ERS POSTCAST: Sixers fall to the Hawks, 132-123

Sinopsis

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Atlanta Hawks, 132-123 Monday night despite a game high 35 points for Quentin Grimes. The loss does help the Sixers slide back down to one of the six worst teams in the NBA thanks to the Nets and Raptors winning Monday night. Quentin Grimes led the Sixers’ effort throughout the night but especially in the fourth quarter where he scored 17 of the Sixers 43 points in the quarter. Philly was once again without Paul George and Tyrese Maxey and had to rely heavily on reserves for this second leg of a back-to-back. Jeff Dowtin Jr netted 17 points while Ricky Council IV scored 19.   Little bit of a disappointing right for Sixers rookie center Adem Bona who after posting career numbers in the first game of this back-to-back came up with 12 points and just two rebounds in 23 minutes played in Atlanta.  Your favorite podcast now has a newsletter!
