Sinopsis

The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Atlanta Hawks 132-119 in a chippy contest Sunday night. Quentin Grimes again led the 76ers with 26 points while Justin Edwards contributed his second straight 20 point performance scoring 22 on the Hawks. The Hawks built a 16-point lead in the second quarter but the Sixers were able to cut that in half 3 minutes into the third. That's when Guerschon Yabusele hit a jumper to cut the Hawks’ lead to 68-60. That’s when Atlanta’s Zaccharie Risacher started knocking down shots, scoring 16 of his 22 points in the quarter.   Risacher’s shooting wasn’t the only thing heating up in the 3rd Quarter as former Sixer George Niang started to trash talk Quentin Grimes. Later Niang was issued a technical foul for taunting and making gestures to Sixers players. Trae Young was also T’ed up for inciting the crowd to cheer against a referee’s call. It was Sixers coach nick nurse though that started the technical foul trend as he was given a technical foul for arguing with the official 90 seconds
