Fulop & Small Jersey City Mayor; Steven Fulop, paid a visit to Atlantic City on Wed., April 13. Fulop admits he's on the fence about supporting casinos in North Jersey, and in his own backyard. Jersey City is a likely location of a casino, if voters are cool with gambling outside Atlantic City. That's why he wanted to get an up-close look at how gaming has affected AC over the past 40 years. Fulop might even campaign against North Jersey gaming if Jersey City ultimately says no. During his visit, Fulop was treated to a classic soul food lunch. Fulop experienced the popular soul food of Kelsey's;  fried chicken, cornbread and collard greens with a side of macaroni & cheese. Beach Concert 2016 Live Nation is once again proving how important live music is to the re-invention of Atlantic City. Two big Atlantic City shows were announced today: Toby Keith and Florida Georgia Line. The first two blockbuster beach concert that will play the beaches of Atlantic City this summer. More beach concert announcements are on the way. Toby Keith - Saturday, July 23 Florida Georgia Line - Saturday, September 3 Better than old-school advertising: Atlantic City attracting visitors using 'A' level entertainment & music. WTF Atlantic City is out of control. The City Council that is. NJ Governor Christie is pointing his finger directly at the occupants of City Hall in Atlantic City. Bloated.....fill in the blanks. Even while fiscal promises were made year after year, some on council decided to totally ignore their public pledge. Atlantic City Councilman; George Tibbit ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI ACTION NEWS) --Nearly a year ago, Atlantic City council members were stripped of their take-home cars, and were told to only use them for official business. Leading the charge was Councilman George Tibbitt who, even back in 2012, voluntarily agreed to turn in his city car. So imagine our surprise when we saw a municipal car parked in front of his house during multiple random checks in the last four months. Much of what they saw was in direct conflict with daily inaccuracies being reported by local news radio. For the past 15 months, media pundits regularly questioned Glenn Straub's sanity, as well as his interest/ability to re-open Revel in Atlantic City. One particular news director virtually swore Straub & Revel were doomed. One by one, those rumors, accusations and innuendo are proving to be wrong. Really wrong. When no one else could or would, Florida real estate developer Glenn Straub stroked a $82 mil check. He took ownership of Revel. The councilman shares his thoughts on Bader Field, and the MUA water company issue. The Jingoli development firm and Glenn Straub are mentioned as well. Who Will Serve Food & Drink at Brigantine Links? Listen> Jim Fraser; former owner of Mays Landing Country Club talk about The Links at Brigantine Golf Course. They're looking for someone to take over Food & Beverage and Jim was there for the 'walk-thru' on March 2. An RFP was sent out recently order to attract a vendor that would feed & provide drink inside the Links Clubhouse at the north end of the island. Pirates Den, Cellar 32 and Mad Dog Morgan were 3 of the 6 potential bidders who did a walk-thru of the facilities on WED March 2. Brigantine Links Manager; Nathan, said that 23,000 rounds were played in 2015. Fraser thinks that Brigantine needs at least 30,000 rounds with an average price per round $40 to be successful. 'Anemic' is how Fraser described the 2015 revenue numbers that Mad Dog Morgan brought in last season.
