Can you do it? Do I have what it takes? How we answer these questions matter.

Where your heart is there your treasure will be. If you treasure perishable things; then, you will always be in danger of losing your treasure. So, Jesus tells us how that impacts us emotionally in His sermon on the mount.

Failure is common to all of us. Each of us has had a misstep and made mistakes. It doesn’t have to be the end of the story. What if you got back up?

What would Jesus say about investments? We know because He spoke about them in His sermon on the mount. He tells us where to invest our time, talents, and treasure.

Why is loving our neighbor so hard?.. Jesus said the church would be salt and light - a city set on a hill. We must love our neighbor for the Glory of God.

What does it take for us to become teachable? Disciples are learners. If we are to be trained disciples then we must have a teachable spirit.

We all look for loopholes when it comes to obeying commands. What do you mean by that word? Who did Jesus mean when He said to love our neighbor? The guy next door only? Or, is there more to neighbor than a geographical location?

We are called to the ministry. Each one of us. But how we go about doing the work of the Lord makes a huge difference in whether or not we experience success or failure.

How do you love your neighbor? How do you love yourself? Jesus commands us to love others in a very specific manner.

Three things impact us from day one here on earth. God designs the starting points of your story for His glory.

What is the greatest commandment? Jesus settled an ongoing debate for us in how to relate to God and others. His answer is simple, but it’s application is heavy.

What comes to mind when you think about redemption? Ruth is a story of redeeming love. Ruth was without children, without a husband, and in poverty; but, that was not the end of her story. If you are in a bad place, you need to know there is redemption for you. You can be redeemed.

Christians are called to love. Everybody knows that. God called us to this a long time ago. It is not a new thing, but an old thing.

Ruth needs a husband. She needs a place to rest. We all need a place to call home, to feel safe and secure. Where are you looking for security?

We all want to be loved. But often we find that the love of those around us fails in our times of greatest need. This Psalm is reminder of love that never fails. Love that never gives up on us.

How much difference would it make if you knew that someone who is over you is for you? It can change the way we approach today and the future. The Church celebrated who Jesus was and the role He played in their life. David foresaw this and wrote a song about it.

Ruth is a love story. It a story of two unlikely people coming together. What made them attractive can make us attractive people as well.

There are times that God seems distance. Have you ever wondered if God was listening? Does He care? The Psalmist David felt this way. In the midst of his song he discovered that God was there and we can too.

The early church found hope in the old songs of Israel. These worship songs impact us now just as it impacted them in the past. The worship of the church encourages the believer to find God as a refuge in times of chaos.
