Ruth and Orpah were left with a decision to stay or go. One stayed. The other went. The choice to follow is often a choice to leave the familiar behind, but the faithful will follow even when the future is unfamiliar.

How does the Afterlife impact the now life? The life we live on earth should be profoundly affected by the life we are promised by Jesus. Heaven comes to earth in the way we speak and live.

Life can be difficult. We can suffer loss. There is hope for those who trust God. He can give us a restart in life if we will trust Him.

What comes after the judgement? The Bible teaches that there is a place for those who don't want anything to do with God. It is a strong warning to call people to repent and trust in Jesus.

What about animals in heaven? How about sports? Will there be sex in heaven? In this talk, we speculate from Scripture on what heaven will be like.

When we die we still have appointments to make. Jesus is alive and He will be meeting with each of us at some point in eternity. The living and the dead will face judgment.

There is hope after death. A place called heaven awaits those who believe in Jesus. The Bible gives us some insight into this mysterious and wonderful life after death.

Peter encourages us that we can trust the Word of God. God has given us prophets and apostles to testify to the Second Coming. We can have hope and build our life on His Word.

What happens to you after you die? What happened to your loved one who passed on? All of us want to know what happens at the moment of death. Are we still alive? Where do we go? In this sermon, we peek behind the door by looking at what the Bible teaches on life after death.

False teachers will be in the church. They are slick. They are counterfeits and Peter warns us about their characteristics. It has been 2,000 years and they are still the same.

Death confronts us with the question, "Is there something beyond our life on earth?" The Afterlife series deals with the questions we all seek to know. Is there something more after life on this earth? The Bible has the answer.

It is easy to get perplexed by the prosperity of the wicked. Peter encourages our hearts by reminding us of what God has done in the past so that we can rest easy in the future. God is not asleep and is at work in the world even if false teachers seem to be getting away with wickedness.

Planning is necessary and good. How you speak of your plans matters to God. This talk helps us to examine our hearts and plans by looking at how we talk about our plans.

False teachers will be in the church. Peter echoes Jesus in helping us to be alert to their profiles. Be prepared to be on guard against heresy and immorality.

What does it take to be successful? No one is successful on their own. Everybody needs help. We can learn from what made Nehemiah successful in His rebuilding plan.

Peter and the apostles saw Jesus. It changed everything and they were never the same.

Planning and providence aren't at odds in the Bible. Our plans can be at odds with God's plan, but it doesn't have to be that way. Our planning and His providence can encourage in our building plans.

Repetition is the key to remembering what you need for life. Peter wants to keep reminding believers of what is important. He is at the end of his life and wants to take the opportunity to hammer the truths into our minds.

God cares about your plans. He is involved with every aspect of your life. No detail is too minor. He has a plan for each of us.
