Life causes us to doubt, but the foundation of your faith is not our personal experience. It’s a record of witnesses that the church has collected, so that we can know the truth. We now believe in the resurrection of Jesus, because they saw something so incredible it changed everything.

Luke records the first two months after the birth of Jesus. His parents followed the law of God. Jesus was the promise fulfilled for Simeon and Anna. They longed for God more than anything. Jesus was enough for them.

In this sermon, we discover the incredible difficulty that the disciples had when it came to the resurrection of Jesus. Doubts plagued them, but everything changed one Easter morning for most of them except for Thomas. The story of Thomas is encouragement for anyone that has ever felt skeptical concerning the story of Christianity.

The world faces many problems. There are two problems that are so massive that we don’t even think about solving. The Gospels offer a solution to the problem of sin and death.

The birth of John the Baptist changed his family forever. Zechariah was able to speak. He praised God and prophesied about what God was up to in the world. The Lord’s discipline turned into worship.

Sadness and sorrow are emotions that we all feel, and we have to face. The Bible offers us the gospel to help us through these emotions. We are meant to thrive not just survive.

God does what He says and we should do what He has said. What can we do to help others do what God has told them.

Bigger, Better, Faster and more is what we are told will make us happy. But we have discovered these things haven’t brought us the joy. What can you do to pursue greater joy? Joy even when others have the bigger and better things.

What does the image of God you have on the app of your heart look like?

Worry and anxiety are emotions that we all struggle with on a daily basis. Is there really any hope to overcoming this feeling. Jesus gave his disciples some words that will help us deal with our troubled hearts.

Culture teaches us to do whatever it takes to be successful. Flaunt it if necessary. Christians are in this world but not of it. The knowledge of God's ways bring understanding and understanding Wisdom. Even if we don't understand we are set free of not knowing because we can trust in God.

What is your response to the blessing of God in your life? Well, it depends on how you are approaching life. Mary was humble and that was a guiding factor in her writing a song of worship. We can learn a lot from Mary’s song about how we are to live.

What makes you happy. Studies have been done. Money has been spent. We all have one thing in common when it comes to love.

In Luke 1:39-45, we discover the work of God in the life of Elizabeth and Mary. God is able to use the marginalized for His purposes and the implications of their story on some of the issues we face culturally.

Humans are complex. Each one of us was fearfully and wonderfully made by God. And because of this we have and experience a bundle of emotions. In this series we discover a couple things to help us manage our emotions rather than having them manage us.

God is able to do the impossible. Luke captures some snapshots from the first Christmas to prove that Jesus was coming to the earth in the most surprising way. He chose a young girl from a small town as a vessel to give birth to the Savior of the world.

Is church really that important? Many Americans have come to the conclusion that they just don't need church. However, there is a huge benefit to being in fellowship with the church. This message helps us to understand one of the reasons church can be a positive force in our lives.

Christmas time is a time of worship and wonder. Nothing captures this thought as perfectly as the most famous song of the Christmas season. Silent Night serves to remind us that there is hope.

Each believer is called to the ministry. God has something for us to do or He would call us home. What is God calling you to do? What opportunity is God birthing in your heart and mind?
