Virtue stands apart from character. Love is the ultimate virtue and one that never ends.

Have we lost our passion? The problem isn't that we have lost passion. The problem is that we have lost passion for what really matters- our Lord.

For Paul, hope is always tied to resurrection. Paul knows, as we should know, that without the resurrection, there is no hope. The question is, "What do we do with this hope?"

Stewardship is a word that many of us shy away from. We assume that it is always referring to finances. Though it does include finances, it also includes all aspects of what God has provided for us.

God wants to use you. He loves you and wants you to be whole and healed.

Week two of our series, Renovate, brings us to the Renovation of the Church. I love the church and I believe God's mission must be central to the mission of the church.

Today we began a new series called Renovate. We began with the Renovation of the Heart.

Love never ends.

Romans 8 is one the greatest single chapters in our Bibles. Paul is beginning to fulling develop his statements in chapter 8. We, the people of God, are to be people no longer in dwelt by sin, but rather the Spirit.

John Wesley saw three dimensions of salvation in Romans 6:22. 1) Freed from sin 2) Freed from the plague of sin (sanctification) 3) Eschatologically free from all evidence of sin (eternal life).

Paul draws from his understanding of the Old Testament as he writes to the Romans. The Exodus is a central story in the lives of the people of God. God set his people free from the slavery of Egypt. Through Christ, God set his people free from the slavery of sin. Today, we explore these parallels.

Romans 5 reminds us to "rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope..."

We are in darkness and we desperately need the light.

One of the core issues in our lives is summed up in a statement in Romans 1:25. "...they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator..." How have we, as people created by our Father, worshipped and served the creature rather than our Father?

We began a new series today on the most theologically rich books in the Bible- Romans. The beauty of Romans is unbelievably deep and complex. Join us this summer as we journey in Radical Grace.

Disappointment is a part of all of our lives. We have expectations and sometimes our lives don't play out the way we would like. The road to Emmaus reminds us that God is working in the midst of this pain.

It is Easter Sunday and a time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. Join us this morning as we remember the resurrection through the baptism of a new believer.

The Prodigal Son is a great parable. Many times, we overlook the importance of the other son. He is not one that we usually identify with, but digger a little deeper into the story reminds us that sometimes we have to choose between being right and being in relationship.
