We talk to Dan Hayes of The Athletic about the recent surge of the Twins after a solid outing by Kenta Maeda in the first game of the series in Detroit and preview tonight’s game with Pablo Lopez on the mound.

What started as a dismal week in Twins baseball turned out to be a red hot finish for the Minnesota Twins and the offense has begun to increase game by game once again. Dan Hayes, who covers the Minnesota Twins for The Athletic, joins to recap Friday’s outing in Detroit where the return of Kenta Maeda proved a success and the Twins continued to string together wins.
