Heading out to the green on this Saturday as we talk to Jace Fredrick of the Pioneer Press previewing the 3M Open and talking PGA as The Open is in progress across the pond. 

We start off this Saturday a bit choppy as severe weather makes its way through the northwest metro but that doesn't keep us from talking about Vikings football and training camp as that is officially about to be underway talking about the Jordan Addison speeding incident and more. We also talked about a great event combatting hunger with Wayne Kostroski who founded Taste of the NFL , he now is the mind behind Taste Fore The Tour, being held at Interlachen Country Club on Monday - he tells us how we can help fight hunger and gives all the details to this event. 

From the idea of Taste of the NFL comes the event known as Taste Fore the Tour and we had the creator behind these events Wayne Kostroski on the show to tell us how people can join in on this great event taking place at Interlachen Country Club on Monday July 24th. and how people can help combat hunger.

We lead you up to the Minnesota Twins visiting the Oakland Athletics for their second game of the series in Oakland. Dan Hayes covers the Minnesota Twins for The Athletic and checks in from the Coliseum to preview tonight's game and recap last night's late win against the A’s We also bring you the pregame lineup and get you ready for the first pitch from Oakland.

Loons fans will be disappointed if they look at the schedule for this season as they do not face Lionel Messi, however it's important to note how it will affect the MLS overall - we get Loons beat writer for the Star Tribune, Jerry Zgoda’s thoughts on that and the up and down roller coaster the Loons have been on as of late.

Kicking off this hour we talked with Mike Hanson, he is the Director of the Office of Traffic Safety for the Department of Public Safety chiming in on the zipper merge incident from a couple of days ago and discussing some of the pressing questions when it comes to unsafe driving here in Minnesota. We also take your questions and thoughts regarding keeping the roads safe and what you, yourself can do to help officers maintain safe roadways. We also bring you a Wimbledon update and an update on the Genesis Scottish Cup across the pond. Finally, we recap the Twins win over the Athletics and discuss the WNBA All-Star Weekend as Sabrina Ionescu is taking the world by storm with her three point competition performance yesterday.
