The Significance of Christ’s Resurrection
27/03/2016 Duración: 34minSay HiTHE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST The resurrection of Christ is so important for several reasons. First it attests to the unequaled power of God Himself. To believe in the resurrection is to believe in God. If God created the world out of nothing and He is in control of the entire universe, He must have power over death also. If death will bring an end to His creation then He is not worthy of our worship and trust.Second reason of Jesus’ resurrection is a testimony to the resurrection of human beings which is a basic tenet of the Christian faith. Christianity alone possesses a founder who transcends death and who promises His followers of life after death. As Christians, we believe in a Saviour who became man, died for our sins and was raised to life the third day. The grave could not hold its maker. He is the one who lived, died and lives forever having killed death by His resurrection. The Bible guarantees the believer’s resurrection at the coming of Jesus Christ. Such hope and assurance brings about the song

The Significance of This Event
20/03/2016 Duración: 30minSay HiTHE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY JESUS INTO JERUSALEMThe four canonical gospels narrated the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. This event marked the beginning of Jesus’ Passion.John’s gospel says it happened after Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead. The crowd that believed in Jesus after the miracle gathered the next day for the Feast in Jerusalem to welcome Jesus as He enters Jerusalem. The Synoptic gospel gave the account that as Jesus was descending from the Mount of Olive towards Jerusalem the crowds lay their clothes on the ground to welcome Jesus as He triumphantly enters Jerusalem. The triumphal entry was predicted in the Old Testament (Zechariah 9:9) and the three gospels agreed with the account in Zechariah that Jesus was coming from Mount Olive (Zechariah 14:1-5).Another significant point is that Jesus was not riding on a horse but on a donkey. He is not for war but for peace (Zech. 9:9). He is the Prince of Peace and peace He brought to our world. As we remember Jesus’ example as the King of Peac

Dimensions of Healing Anointing:
13/03/2016 Duración: 28minSay HiTHINGS THAT FAITH CAN DO FOR YOU1.The greatest thing that faith can do for you is to help save you from eternal damnation. Ephesians 2:8 says “For by grace are you saved though faith.”2.Faith will defend you. Ephesians 6:16 says “Taking up the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Faith in God through Jesus will do this not faith in carnal weapons of men.3.Faith will help provide for you. Psalm 9:10 says “And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee, for Thou Lord hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.”4.Faith will cement your destiny. 2Chronicles 20:20 says “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established.” Your hope should be built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. 5.Faith will solidify your prayer. 1John 5:14 says “This is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” Lack of faith brings no answer to our prayer.6.Faith will heal your family. BE A GENEROUS GIVER
06/03/2016 Duración: 33minSay HiADVANTAGES IN GIVING Many times we look at some Christian injunctions and feel that only the mature Christians are meant to do them. When it comes to giving, we say within ourselves, “that is meant for the rich and not for us who are struggling to make ends meet.” I have good news for us today that we do not have to be rich to give and we do not have to be poor to be stingy too.Paul wrote in Acts 20:35 quoting Jesus by saying “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” Let us quickly examine some reasons why ALL Christians should imbibe this noble practice.1.Giving obeys God’s command (Luke 6:38).2.Giving submits to God’s Lordship. Our submission is really tested in the areas where our own nature and situation make obedience more difficult. Money is one of those areas.3.Giving exhibits God’s heart (James 1:17). Be like God who is the giver of every good and perfect gift. 4.Giving illustrate God’s salvation (2 Cor. 2:9). Jesus became poor, that we through His poverty might become rich.5.Giving makes us

Unity In Christ
28/02/2016 Duración: 32minSay HiUNITY IN CHURCHUnity in the church is a priority in the mind of Jesus Christ. If we cannot be united as a local church, then it will be impossible for us to talk about unity in Christendom. In John 17:21, the Prayer of Jesus for His followers is “That they all may be one, as you, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” Oneness can only be achieved where love is found. Amos the prophet asked “Can two work together unless they are agreed?” (Amos 3:3).I Corinthians 1:10, Paul pleaded with the church in Corinth by saying “Now, I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no division among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” Church, we are not competitors but a team. Everybody must join hands to contribute their quota. Nobody should cause division because such divisions are not of Christ and those who try it mus

GOD CARES !
21/02/2016 Duración: 22minSay HiIn Psalm 103:13 the Bible declares the character of God as one who cares – “As a father has compassion on His children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.” Please always remember that God cares about everything in your life, compassionately for that matter. In today’s text (Mark 4:25-41), the disciples of Jesus were sore afraid of the storm and they had to wake Jesus up from sleep and then asked the question “Lord, don’t you care that we perish?”Many of us have asked this question in different circumstances. “God, did you not see the doctor’s report?” God are you not aware of what a mess my marriage is?” “Don’t you see the little money I have left and yet the bills are mounting?” “Do you see how my children are struggling in school?! “Lord don’t you care?”The truth is, God cares. See what God wants us to do in I Peter 5:7 “Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.”If only you knew and felt how your heavenly Father care so compassionately and constantly about you, you would have

Love in Action
14/02/2016 Duración: 19minSay HiSHORT STORY OF VALENTINE’S DAYValentine is now celebrated with flowers, candy, red hearts and romance. The original story of what started this celebration was not romantic at all rather it was a story that ended with death and sorrow. St. Valentine was a Roman Catholic Priest at a time when Claudias was an Emperor who persecuted the church without mercy. During Claudias’ time an edict that prohibited the marriage of young people was passed. Claudias was of the belief that unmarried soldiers would serve in battle than married ones since they had no care hanging on them. St. Valentine secretly went against Claudias’ verdict by marrying young people. Valentine was eventually caught, imprisoned and tortured for breaking the Emperor’s edict. One of the judges by name Asterius had become a Christian because Valentine healed the daughter of her blindness. Valentine was admired by many young people who believed that he died for what he believed. But what gave birth to Valentine’s Day celebration was the style S

WE MUST REMEMBER
31/01/2016 Duración: 22minSay HiPLEASE REMEMBERWhen was the last time that you participated in taking the Lord’s Supper? How do you go about preparing yourself to participate in the Lord’s Supper? Do you know the importance of this ordinance in the believer’s life? Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour instituted this ordinance of the church for us to remember what He has done for us. Later, Paul tells us that we are to be serious, sober and reexamine ourselves as we set to participate in eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Christ who readily gave Himself for us to redeem us. We are not to be casual or flippant in our preparation. Our participation should be with reverence, humility and sincerity. Participation in the Lord’s Supper is a time of remembering the love that God has for us and should call for a serious self-assessment and repentance. Whenever you have the privilege of participating in the observation of the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, please do not belittle it and I pray that you will not idolize the practice instea
