An expository lesson on the meaning of the four types of soil, centering primarily on the good soil - the good and honest heart. Why do some men have good and honest hearts while others don't? How is it that two brothers with the same parents go separate ways; one with faith and one without faith?

At this point in his ministry, Yeshua began to speak in parables. Why? What was the purpose for his use of parable stories rather than direct, literal communication with everyone?

The Pharisees and experts in the law would appear to need no confession of sin and baptism. But that is a strictly outward appearance. Their healing was to be found in taking off their mask of hypocrisy and getting in line with the tax collectors to be baptized by John.

An emotional attachment to the sinful world means that we are an enemy of Yahweh. Our desires must be inclined to spiritual truth, not anything else that the world has to offer.

According to Yeshua, John the Baptizer was the greatest man ever born. This lesson seeks to understand the reason behind his greatness.
