This begins a two-part series (within a larger series) examining Yeshua's statement, "Before Abraham was born, I am." (John 8:58 NASB) Who was Yeshua claiming to be? Is he the I am of Exodus 3:14? In this lesson, I cover Exodus 3:14 as well as other texts in John's Gospel where Yeshua uses the words "I am," leading up to John 8:58.

What is real wisdom? How do we determine whether or not we are acting wise in this life? There are so many people today who view wisdom in ways that are just not wise at all. This lesson seeks to remove all of those and center in on the only wisdom that really matters.

A couple weeks before this year's Passover, I had a lot of thoughts go through my head. I wrote them all down as they came and shared them in this short lesson.

There was a man by the name of Hezekiah in the days of the kings of Judah. What was in his heart was astonishing. What we learn through his kingship in relation to the Passover may be even more astonishing.

All Scripture is important. All doctrine is important. But not all Scripture and doctrine are of equal importance. This short lesson lists *some of the more important things that believers should be concerned with. They don't always square with what we "feel" should be most important.

Being in prison, Yochanan (John) could not see with his own eyes all that Yeshua had been doing. He believed, but needed the Master to help his unbelief. That was okay for John, and that is okay for you.

A discussion from Summer of 2013 with a couple of brothers/friends of mine concerning when the day begins. I just found this recording today (Feb. 2015). I had forgotten about it before. I thought it would be good to share with others, so here it is. : )

A woman who had already lost her husband, has her only son die. But, Yeshua sympathizes with her and raises her son from the dead. Through this act Yahweh visited His people Israel. Beautiful, lovely account.

Brother James gives us two Old Testament examples of people with faith. In both cases faith produces works that people could visually see and hear and read about for future generations. Listen to learn more about the harmony between Paul and James in regards to justification.

Are we saved by faith? The answer is yes, but the faith that saves us is a living faith, one always accompanied by works.

The centurion soldier was not only a man of great humility, he was also a man of great faith. A faith that even amazed Yeshua, and had not been found by Yeshua, even in Israel.

The Roman centurion spoke so much truth when he told the Master to not trouble himself, because he wasn't worthy for Yeshua to come under his roof. Every single one of us should speak the same way to the Master.

The rich man can often buy his way out of a problem, but the poor man has to trust in something greater. We must all learn to not esteem our belongings more than our faith, and not esteem others based upon what they have or their social status.

We forget the exhortation that Yahweh disciplines His children whom He loves. We must accept it, receive it, and realize that what's best for us is what Yahweh decides we need. If we feel like giving up, we should look to Yeshua who has suffered ahead of us.

It seems that in our modern times people are interested in popularity and popularity contests. What does James have to say about showing partiality?
