Sinopsis
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is simple, powerful, and life changing. It declares the love of God for mankind. It is the good news people long to hear. Radio delivers it straight to the heart. But it is not enough just to hear the good news. God wants to make His love a reality in our lives. He wants us to believe it and live it. At Basic Gospel, we are dedicated to proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ and the profound simplicity of His love and grace. Our hope is that the clear presentation of the Basic Gospel and the singular focus on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ will anchor listeners to the love of God and will encourage them to experience the fullness of the New Covenant life that is theirs in Christ.

We see that through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:17 says “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” But, thanks be to God, Jesus was raised and in him we have eternal life.

I Am Convinced
22/12/2021 Duración: 25min"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? ... For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. No Condemnation in Christ
21/12/2021 Duración: 25min""There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 There is no condemnation for you because you are in Christ. That is life changing news. Why is this so important? Because you have an accuser, an enemy, that stands against you. But you can rest in the reality that is found in Jesus Christ alone. * Darlene writes: "just wanted to say goodbye and thank you for so many years of great teaching." * Whenever someone accepts Christ into their life, do they need to understand why Jesus died for their sins or understand that he died for their sins? Does it matter if they understand it? * Robert is looking for a new church. What should he look for in a church?

The Image of the Invisible God
20/12/2021 Duración: 25min"We see some really amazing and supernatural things about the Christmas story. It was orchestrated by God to provide his Son as a gift and sacrifice to us. We see the full scope of Jesus' work upon the earth -- his death, burial and resurrection. Paul gives us a description of Jesus in Colossians 1:19-20 "For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross." * Like Never Before $90,000 Matching Grant https://basicgospel.net/give * Wayne calls to say "Thank you" and encourages the listeners to keep your eyes on Jesus. * Can you please help me understand what the writer of Hebrews is saying in chapter 6, verse 1 and 2? * Prince calls to say he'll miss Basic Gospel and appreciates that we make the Gospel simple to understand.

Live By Faith
16/12/2021 Duración: 25min"Meet Andrew Farley. With the merging of Basic Gospel with The Grace Message with Dr. Andrew Farley, today we hear Andrew's story of finding the grace of God. The friendship between Bob Christopher and Andrew has been a rich one and led to this merger. There is no one better to take the reins and take the grace message to the world. "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Gal 2:20 * How do we know the difference between walking in our own strength or walking in the strength of Jesus? * Is Romans 11:25-26 saying that the nation of Israel will all respond to the grace of God or is it referring to the "Israel" of Jew and Gentile?

Jesus' Sacrifice
15/12/2021 Duración: 25min"Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, "Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offering you have taken no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.'" Child of God
14/12/2021 Duración: 25min"Yesterday we talked about the importance of our identity. In Christ we've been made new and give a brand new identity. Jesus came into this world to save sinners and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Now we've been born again into the family of God. We are children of God. Romans 8:15-16 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God..." * How do we answer those who claim the power of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to keep the law? What about those who claim physical healing based on Isaiah 53? * Roman asks if it's OK to drink alcohol as a Christian?

From Sinner to Saint
13/12/2021 Duración: 25min"What you see with every human being is the quest to find the answer to the question, 'who am I?" The Bible answers that question for us and we find the complete answer in Jesus Christ. Apart from Jesus we are sinners by nature. When we come to Christ we become saints. A brand new identity. * Isaiah 59:2 was given to me as proof that God doesn't hear the prayers of unbelievers. Is this true? * When Jesus said "if you deny me before men, I'll deny you before the father", does that apply to me? * How do I learn to recognize and receive answers from God? * Susie asks for a fuller explanation of the promises of the New Covenant.

Repentance
10/12/2021 Duración: 25min"We had a question about repentance yesterday and it's such an important subject to understand. Repentance deals with going from unbelief to belief. It's a change of mind ... a change of heart. It's the grace of God that moves us to a new understanding. "do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?" Romans 2:4 * I know repentance mean to change your mind. Is it wrong to teach that repentance mean to stop sinning? * If God is all-knowing then he knew before Lucifer's creation that he would stray. That being said, how was Lucifer not created to be damned? * John commented on one of our videos... "I feel like I've sinned to the point of a reprobate and now I'm his enemy. It's very scary." * How are we supposed to live out "be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect" when God knows we're not perfect? Matthew 5:43-48

A New Commandment
09/12/2021 Duración: 25min"Toward the end of his life Jesus gathered his disciples to prepare them for what was ahead. In John 13 Jesus chooses to wash the feet of the disciples. It was to show the full extent of his love. The next day he showed the ultimate act of love through his death on the cross. In the washing of the disciple's feet, he shared a new commandment. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35 * Jeff calls for and explanation of "Blessed are the poor in spirit". * Can you explain how Preterists, Futurists, and Historicists view the Book of Revelation? * Could you please explain 1 peter 4:18? If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? * I know repentance mean to change your mind. Is it wrong to teach that repentance mean to stop sinning? * How can I be godly and loving to ungodly and unlovi

A New Heart
08/12/2021 Duración: 25min""But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. " Romans 6:17 What does it mean to be obedient from the heart? * What do you say to people that use Acts 2:38 to support baptism is a commandment for salvation? * Is it necessary that the story of Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden be an actual, factual, historical event? Or can it be thought of as a metaphor? * Is it right for me to be bothered when I hear pastors on the radio or behind the pulpit to describe what my Lord did on the Cross as atonement? * Can you elaborate on the importance of prayer and how it still plays a role in altering circumstances?

Complete in Christ
07/12/2021 Duración: 25min"When we're trying to find truth, when we're trying to find answers... what's drives us is the feeling of incompleteness. "And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:" Colossians 2:10 * I've heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls. But I've never heard of the Lost Books of the Bible. I am sharing the Gospel with an individual who asked if I had heard of them. * I have read references which assert that most of the New Testament could not have been written by its reputed authors because they were illiterate fishermen. This is quite discouraging. Are you able to help me out? * How does Jesus' words that his yoke is easy and burden is light work into my life? Especially concerning the struggles with sin that I have.

Counted as Righteousness
06/12/2021 Duración: 25min"Romans 4:1-5 says "What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness." Now to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness". The law shows us that we are not measuring up, and that's all. The law cannot save you. If you are trying to work your way into righteousness, you will never achieve it. Instead, trust that God can justify you, give you hope, and make you righteous. * $90,000 matching grant.
