    Shakaiah Perez aka Lady Shaka is a queer DJ hailing from Aotearoa, known for her eclectic, vibrant, and diverse sets that reflects her mixed Maori, Tahitian, Cape Verdean, Tokelauan, and Samoan heritage. Since 2018, she's been carving out her own unique space in the global scene, living in London and establishing herself as a Pacific club queen, indigenising dance floors. In 2023, she was awarded the Creative New Zealand Award for her ground-breaking work in shaping contemporary music that transcends traditional genres within the Pacific Islander community. On top of her DJing prowess, she's also a talented dancer, having honed her skills as a former member of Parris Goebel's Royal Family dance group - a talent she brings to life in her Boiler Room sets around the world.

His work often reflects his personal experiences growing up in a racially tense Britain, which shaped his perspective and artistic expression. Nitin has released over a dozen solo albums and has collaborated with artists like Paul McCartney, Sting, Jeff Beck, Anoushka Shankar, and Norah Jones.
