In Spring 2015, Jessica Taylor left her very stable job at Google to take a gamble on an idea. She wanted to put relationships first by creating an audio messaging app, Rolltape. Rolltape is one-part messaging and one-part personal podcasts: user-generated content brought to you in five-minute audio messages by your favorite people.  In her Medium article, Jessica says there is a void in messaging that no one is talking about and it has to do with relationships. I am thrilled to have her join us today on Hello Friend to talk about reclaiming our relationships with the people we care about the most. Tawanna Browne Smith is the founder of Mom’s Guide to Travel. She shares travel planning and tips for women traveling unapogetically with or without kids. Lydia Harrell, also known as “The Lovely Singer”, is one of Boston’s finest musical treasures. I have been doing this for well over eight or nine years and it has served me well. A few years ago, I heard about Chris Brogan picking three words to represent what he wants to see more of in his life instead of resolutions. I liked this idea and gave it a try. It was not until the end of 2015 where I got serious about selecting a theme and words to guide me towards the goals, things and people I want more of in my life.  In this solo episode, I share my overall theme for 2016 and the three words I am using as guides to reach my goals. Carey Bradshaw is a photographer and photo retoucher based out of New York City. Carey and I became friends when he popped on one of my scopes on Periscope and caused mass pandemonium with the women folk by sharing his handsomeness. Since then, we have become fast friends, and I have watched Carey grow a loyal following on Periscope (his following on Instagram is pretty awesome, too) simply by being who he is and that is what his followers love about him. He is an excellent example of how you can use a platform to drive traffic to your business with authenticity and by being a giver.
