The religious officials of the fourth through fourteenth centuries had an agenda of transforming Christianity into a religion that everyone could and would accept.

God created a new paradise, a new place to walk in friendship with man. That place was known as the ekklesia, the church.

Through His people, Jesus will show you many things tonight—the wonders of His cross, the mysteries of His indwelling Spirit, the lessons of practical obedience and daily discipleship.

For Jesus, and therefore His followers, the 'holy place' wasn’t to be sought in a geographical location, but within a people belonging to God.

'The time is coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.'

From the Garden until now, men and women have been hiding from God, and religion has been one of their favorite hiding places. But God is now calling men and women to lose themselves and find Him again! Through His Son and in His ekklesia, God is offering us Himself - not a religion of rituals and words in "special" places at "special" times, but an intimacy and friendship - right here and right now!
