As we slide further and further into lockdown life, the prospect of a family pub quiz and a Friday night mass Zoom gathering becomes increasingly unappealing. Tyler Gregory Okonma has received many plaudits in his 28 years on this planet, with his 2017 Tracks award for album of the year ranking among the most prestigious. Last month, however, he hit new heights. In becoming the first solo rapper to reach number 1 on the Billboard charts with a self-produced and self-arranged album, he secured his place in the history books. We'll let you into a little secret, listeners: we are not very brave. We're easily scared. Lord, we didn't sleep for a month after watching Stephen King's 'It', and Harry has form for sitting on his stairs in his pants, baseball bat in hand, prompted by nothing more than a creak downstairs. But this month, something even scarier happened. One day we woke up, in the depth of the English winter, down on the usually-blustery coast, and it was warm. Unseasonably warm. Global warmingly warm. 'Summer in the winter', some might call it. Terrifying. We've broken the world and we can't get off. The fear hasn't left us just yet. So to sooth us through the trauma, we thought we'd come and say hello to you, our little mates, again. You make everything better, and it has been a month, after all.
