Gems Chicago Soundlab

Our first grade classes went to investigate the public art in Chicago. Today our students walked to Daley Plaza and examine the different perspectives people have as they gaze at the Picasso sculpture. Listen as teachers and students ask people in the plaza, "What do you think Picasso looks like?" 

Students explored the Raspberry Pi hardware in module 2 of Project Empathy. 

On March 25th, our first grade classes presented a video culminating their unit of inquiry on accessibility. Teachers, Joel Blecha and Michael Ferbrache, rewrote the words to a popular song to remind the students of why they were building their own accessible cities.
