    Some 40 protesters were removed from the Kerem Shalom Crossing on Sunday after setting up tents to block the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. IDF troops remain stationed at the crossing to prevent the return of protestors  to the closed military area. In recent weeks, groups of protesters  led by the Tsav 9 group, have blocked the crossing in an attempt to prevent humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza’s civilian population while the hostages remain in Hamas captivity.
