Some 40 protesters were removed from the Kerem Shalom Crossing on Sunday after setting up tents to block the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. IDF troops remain stationed at the crossing to prevent the return of protestors  to the closed military area. In recent weeks, groups of protesters  led by the Tsav 9 group, have blocked the crossing in an attempt to prevent humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza’s civilian population while the hostages remain in Hamas captivity. The Egyptian regime would hardly shed any tears if Hamas – which they view like the outlawed Muslim brotherhood – was destroyed. Yet Cairo is threatening to abrogate the historic peace treaty with Israel if the IDF goes through with its planned invasion of Rafah and takeover of the Philadelphia corridor along the frontier. The ratings agency Moody’s has downgraded Israel’s credit rating due to the impact of the ongoing war with Hamas in Gaza. A majority of Israelis prioritize a hostage release over toppling Hamas, with 51 percent of Israelis saying they think bringing the hostages home should be the main goal of the war, while 36 percent say toppling Hamas should be the main goal, according to a new survey conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute. The exhibition "Design Emergency" at the Vitrina Gallery at the Holon Institute of Technology – HIT, depicts that exactly: How Israel's industrial design community – as individuals as well as in the framework of the various academic institutions – came together in a vast volunteer effort after the October 7th attacks, to meet specific needs of Israel's security forces and the home front – be it producing supplemental pouches and pockets for battle vests, or special covers for hospital stretchers. Speaking in Jerusalem on Monday after meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné said  that “settler violence” in the West Bank must stop. “We must also prevent any risk of escalation, to avoid any flareup in the West Bank,” he said at a press conference at the King David Hotel. “It is of utmost importance to refrain from any action, decision or statement that might spark violence. The American "Politico" website reports that US President Joe Biden called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a "bad guy". Political commentator Jonathan Martin wrote that the president and all his staff are suspicious of Netanyahu, mainly due to fear that he will drag the United States into a protracted war in the Middle East.
