There are people who will support you, and there are resources available. The Bible says, "without counsel, plans fail" (Proverbs 15:22). This means that it's important to seek wise counsel when making decisions. A prayer is also a powerful tool when it comes to making tough choices. God can give you clarity and direction when you pray for guidance. Seek input from your prayer partner or counselor. Remember, you are not alone in this journey! Making choices is a part of life. We all have to make them, and sometimes they're not easy. But when we make the wrong choice, it can be costly. That's what happened to the prodigal son in the Bible. He asked his father for his inheritance early, and his father obliged. But the son's plan failed miserably. He wound up losing everything, which led him to become homeless and a beggar

"For this commandment is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way to life." Proverbs 6:23 Making tough choices is never easy, but it's essential to living a fulfilling life. If you don't make tough choices, someone else will make them for you. And you may not like the results. However, if you can take some moment to identify what's important to you and how you want it more than anything else, you can start making choices that will get you closer to your goals. Joseph understands the importance of relationship and covenant with God and his master, and he was no different. He was the best man in Potiphar's house. Potiphar's wife wanted Joseph, so she kept trying to get him to break her husband's rule. (Genesis 39:7) "Lie with me," she demanded. Remember, she was a beautiful woman, and she was insistent. But Joseph was courageous to make a tough choice when Potiphar's wife tempted him. He chose to be a man who would not let his master wife's demands dictate his life. Genesis 3

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." Colossians 3:16 Making good choices is not always easy, but it is worth it. We need to be mindful of our choices and think about the consequences. We should also ask for guidance from God, who knows what is best for us. A single drop of water is insignificant, but when it joins with other drops, it can create a powerful force. We all make choices, and these choices define us. Our decisions determine not only our present but also our future. Every choice we make leads us down a unique path, and we can never go back to change them. A young man was in tears when he heard his rich dad died and knew that he wills him nothing except an option to pick one thing and leave the rest of the inheritance to his slave. He didn't know how to react but to cry. Finally, the lawyer told him that he had to decide within seven days, or else everything would be given to his father's slave. While he was trying to decide which choice would be better, the slave began to celebrate his life with joy. Everyone else was making their own choices. Some people say it will be better to choose money because with money comes power. Others say it is better to choose the company because you can have all your needs to be met with the company. David sends for her and sleeps with her, knowing that she is married. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." James 1:5 One decision can change your life because it sets off a chain reaction of other decisions. So making one small decision can change your life. For example, if you decide to get up early in the morning and go for a walk, you might start feeling more energetic and be more productive during the day. Or, if you decide to eat healthier foods, you might start losing weight and feeling better overall. So just making one small change can have a big impact on your life! If someone you choose to stay in bed instead of going to work, they'll probably miss work and get fired. That one decision can lead to becoming homeless and unemployed. I remember a story of a young man who had a dream job at a technology company but loved his bed more than work. One day he chooses to stay in bed instead of going to work. The second way to know if you're open to God's correction is if you're living in submission to Him. If you're living in submission to Him, then you're open to His correction because you're living in obedience to Him. The third way to know if you're open to God's correction is if you're living a life of prayer. If you're living a life of prayer, then you're open to God's correction because you're seeking Him and His will for your life. "For the moment, all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those trained by it." Hebrews 12:11 Since the dawn of time, humans have been plagued by the fear that something terrible will happen to them. For some, this manifests as extreme worry and an inability to enjoy life; for others, it manifests as a crippling belief that they are not good enough. Regardless of its severity, this fear is too common and often results in destructive behaviors. Remember, Proverbs 29:25 says, The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe." But what if there were a different way of looking at circumstances or mishaps around us? What if some setback were simply an opportunity to learn and grow? This is not to say that bad things never happen to good people or that enemies don't play tricks, but we can always find something positive even in the worst situations. "Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them." Hebrews 13:9 Praise God for His amazing grace that helps us grow every day! Continual growth in grace is reasonable and necessary because our duty is so large and comprehensive. "The commandments of God are exceeding broad." Christianity especially is a vast work. And As grace is the seed of glory, that seed must rise by gradual advances to its full maturity. So continual growth in grace is important because Christianity is a gargantuan undertaking. No one ever attains the full stature of Christ in this life. "We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18). Our progress in sanctification is gradual because there is so much before us to be done. We must not rest content with any degree of holiness

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." 2 Peter 3:18 Christianity is a vast work. The commandments of God are exceeding broad, and our duty is so large and comprehensive that continual growth in grace is very reasonable and necessary. Our Savior has given us all we need for salvation, but we must continue to grow to be effective witnesses for Him. Christianity is not just serving our immediate circle. Christianity is not all about communicating only to our family or a small group, even if it does this. Instead, Christianity is encouraging people throughout the world to seek God. As Christians, we must constantly grow and learn more about God's grace. Today's bible verse from 2 Peter 3:18 encourages us to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." We should remember that we are not perfect and will make mistakes. But as we continue to grow in grace, God will hel

"Wisdom belongs to the aged and understanding to the old." Job 12:12 Although aging brings with it some challenges, there are many lessons to be learned and enjoyed. As we age, we learn more about ourselves and our place in the world. We develop a deeper sense of wisdom and understanding, and our relationships with others become more meaningful. We find that we are more content with what we have, and we appreciate life's simple pleasures more than ever. While aging can be unpredictable, it is ultimately a time of growth and enrichment. Maturity is not about age. It's about having the wisdom to make the right decisions; therefore, we must look at how we need to change and improve our lifestyles. One of the most important things to remember is getting rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, outcry, slander, and every form of malice. If we don't get rid of these things, they will only lead to further unhappiness and problems. It's not always easy to let go of these negative emotions, but it is definitely worth it. P

I've learned countless lessons since I've aged, but here are some of the most important ones. 1. Life is precious - Every day is a gift, and we should never take life for granted. This is especially true as we get older and see how short life can be. 2. Appreciate the moment - Life is full of wonderful moments, but we often don't appreciate them until they're gone. When we're younger, we often focus on the future and lose sight of the present. As we age, we learn to appreciate the moment more and enjoy life more. 3. It's never too late to do what you love - It's never too late to follow your dreams. You can still do what you love regardless of how old you are. 4. You're not invincible - We often think we're invincible when we're young, but as we age, we learn that we're not. We realize that we need to take care of ourselves

"When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned like a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things." 1 Corinthians 13:11 We are all individuals with our backgrounds, experiences, and personalities. However, when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we should see the image of God. Reflecting the image of God means having a reverence for who we are as individuals. It means being humble and accepting that we are not perfect and that there is room for growth. It also means having a positive attitude and looking for the good in people and things. I read a story of a young girl at the age of ten who attended a fundraising event with her parent. At the end of the event, she walked up to the person in charge of the event to ask her a question. She said, "Have you ever wished you could be like someone else? The woman answered, "Yes when I was younger, I am now glad and grateful for whom God intended me to be." Next, the lady asked the young girl, "Have you ever wished you could be like someone else?" Sh

"Likewise, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or enslaved people to much wine. They are to teach what is good." Titus 2:3 As a mom, you know just how important it is to have someone to look up to, someone who needs your to help them navigate these waters we call motherhood. It's important to have mentors, especially as a mom, because many different things go through a mother's head daily. One of a mother's priorities is to be a role model for her children. As mothers, we need to become the virtues of a noblewoman. We know just what it's like. We've been there, done that. We know the challenges and the triumphs of being a mom. Every mentor can relate to our mentees on a whole new level to help mentees succeed. We want to help them grow into the amazing mom we know they can be. However, we should always make ourselves available. We should always be there for our mentees, children, and community, whether it's an emergency or just a quick chat. And happy to help. Hebrews 10:39 The Bible says, "Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1). This is what makes creativity and faith work together. Faith gives us the courage to explore new ideas and brings our inner creativity ideas to life. When we combine these two things, we can achieve great things. Faith gives people hope and helps them stay positive in difficult times and challenges. When you have faith in yourself, you will find no limit to how far you can go. It's a matter of believing in yourself and trusting God to help you. Faith and creativity involve believing in something that may not be immediately apparent or tangible. In other words, you have to have faith that what you're doing is going to work out, even though you can't necessarily see the results yet. So there is no doubt that creativity and faith are two important aspects of life. But what do they have to do with each other? It is important to explore what creativity and faith are to answer this question. According to Webster's dictionary, creativity is "the ability to produce something new or original." This can be done in several ways, such as exploring new paths, taking chances, and changing things. All of these elements are essential for growth and progress. Faith is the belief in something that is not seen. It is the trust that what is hoped for will come to be. This could be as simple as believing that the sun will rise each morning or as complex as trusting in God you have never seen. Faith allows people to hold on to hope when things are tough and provides a sense of certainty in an uncertain world. That's why creativity and faith can work together

"Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much." Luke 16:10 Adding creativity to your talent can make it a valuable commodity; however, if you add faithfulness and honesty, you will use it to its fullest potential. When it comes to our talents, we should be faithful to what we are good at and don't try to paint our talent with lies or dishonesty. Remember, when you have done your best with what was entrusted to you, the reward will surely be great, and you will be happy. Our talents can lead us down the right path in life and help us achieve our dreams. We should use them to make a difference and give back to those who have given so much to us. Matthew 25:25 Some people have the talent potential for great things, but they don't know how to get started. While some know how to get started but are not pleased with their talents and hide them. But let me remind you that whether it's playing an instrument, writing, talking, dancing, reading, painting, or cooking, you have to find ways to engage your talents and share them with the world. Opportunities abound for people who never hide their talent but are bold with creativity and have fun. Let your creativity flourish and see where it takes you! The wise men say, 'if you don't know how to use your talents, then it's not worth wasting or burying them. We should always remember that God has given everyone gifts, and we should never waste them. Psalm 104:24 It's fundamental to unleash your creativity first before you actually possess the ability to connect the dots of ideas and people. In the book of Matthew, Jesus says, "For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him." (25:29). In other words, those who trust in God and use the gifts He's given them will be blessed with even more gifts. This is the principle of multiplication. Creativity is a gift from God. It's an act of faith because we're stepping out into the unknown, trusting that God will guide us and provide for us. When we're creative, we're expressing our uniqueness and connection to God.
