A Good Heart is Key to Productivity!
12/06/2022 Duración: 04min"And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God's word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest. " Luke 8 verse 15 A healthy heart is a key to a healthy life, so a Good Heart is Key to Productivity. We must all work to keep our hearts pure and free from the distractions of this world so that we can be open to God's will and become the change we want to see in the world. If our heart is tainted with selfishness, greed, or hatred, then we will not be able to understand or accept the truth. We must also be humble enough to admit that we don't know everything and need God's help to find the truth. Only then can we receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that we should guard our hearts because they determine the course of our lives. In Matthew 13 verses 1 to 23, Jesus tells a story about a farmer who sowed his seed in different ways. Some seeds fell on rocky ground where they couldn't take root. Some seed fell amon

Don't Let Your Mind Wander - Stay Focused!
11/06/2022 Duración: 04min"Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, why do you entertain evil thoughts in your heart?" Matthew.9:4 A mind at peace with God, unpolluted by negativity, is stronger than any charm or incantation. In our scriptural verse for today, Jesus seemed surprised to see the people harboring and entertaining evil thoughts in their hearts. He marveled at what the people permitted as guests into their hearts. Jesus, on seeing this asked why they chose to, as though demanding an explanation from them. Why allow bitterness and hatred to creep into your heart where the issues of life spring? Your heart is the center of your life. When you guard your heart, you guard the course of your life. Solomon said in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life." In other words, above everything else, guard your heart because it determines the course of your life. If you let your mind wander, you will not be focused on what you are doing. This can lead to mistakes and poor decisions. Romans 12

Mercy is the Breath of Life! Part Two
10/06/2022 Duración: 04min"Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful." Luke 6:36 Mercy is often seen as a sign of weakness. Many people think that those who are merciful are not strong enough to be tough and punish others. However, the truth is that mercy is one of the noblest badges a person can wear. We all need mercy. We are all broken in some way, and we all need healing. Mercy heals our brokenness and makes us whole again. It is a sign of strength, not weakness, to show mercy to others even when they do not deserve it. There are many stories and testimonies of people showing mercy, even when it is not easy. I have heard about a young man who shared Maglife Daily Devotional with his enemy (as he called it) who was going through some difficult times in his life that needed the same message to be delivered from the point of death. He forwarded the message to his called enemy and delivered him from suicide. This young man could easily ignore his enemy, but he chose to show mercy instead. Today, they have become a business partner.

Mercy is the Breath of Life!
09/06/2022 Duración: 04min"But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who believed in him for eternal life." 1 Timothy 1:16 Mercy is the breath of life, and it is the most important quality a person can possess. Mercy is not just a feeling or an emotion but also an action. Mercy shows itself when we help others without expecting anything in return. It is the ability to forgive and forget. Remember, being merciful and forgiving is not just a process of the word but an action of deed that comes from the heart. Mercy is the key to living a happy and fulfilling life. The mercy you show to others is what makes the world less cold and brings glory to God. The society that shows mercy towards each other is the one that loves peace and orderliness. "For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mer

Fear is the Enemy of Success! Part Two
08/06/2022 Duración: 04min"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Philippians 4:6 Fear is like a virus in the computer; it can infect your mind and prevent you from achieving success. This is something that we should all remember. Fear can keep us from achieving our goals and living our lives to the fullest. When we are afraid, we can't think or focus on anything else. We need to let go of our fears and trust that God will take care of us. We need to focus on what we want to achieve and not what could go wrong. Fear can also cause us to make mistakes. We may avoid trying new things because we are afraid of failing. Or, we may make bad decisions because we are fearful of what might happen. When we give fear control, it can ruin our lives. We need to learn to overcome our fears and trust God. We need to remember that God is with us and that he will help us achieve our goals. Likewise, we can't let fear stand in our way. No matter what happens in life, we ca

Fear is the Enemy of Success!
07/06/2022 Duración: 04min"But Moses told the people, "Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again." Exodus 14:13 You won't find it advisable to be anxious during your turbulent time if you never overlook God's presence and power in your life. Fear fortifies the person's ability to be quiet and distracted, but faith gives us the ability to focus and think clearly. Fear is a powerful tool for controlling our thoughts and actions. The more we use fear, the stronger it becomes. Fear can be used as a weapon against us or an excuse to avoid doing great things. Jesus went out to meet the disciplines one day. He took a walk on the sea, and the disciples were in much trouble when they saw it. However, immediately, Jesus perceived that they were troubled. So he had to identify Himself and tell them not to worry. At that same point, Peter also decided to try what Jesus was doing; he was able to walk the same way. But got to a point where fear began to fall on him, a

Contenders For Your Mind! Part Two
06/06/2022 Duración: 04min"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3 When our minds are focused on God, we can avoid being intruded upon by the worries and concerns of this world. Today's Bible verse says God will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, everyone who fixed their thoughts on God (Isaiah 26:3). When we an on God, He becomes our stronghold and protector against every spiritual force of worry that comes our way. Psalm 119:165 says, "Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your instruction; nothing can make them stumble." Remember, our mind is sometimes in a conflict between Flesh and God. We are constantly pulled in different directions sometimes or most of the time by the things that interest us in this life. However, when we fix our thoughts on Him, we can find true peace and freedom from worry and make the right choice. The book of Ezekiel 11:5 and 20:32 shows that things, sometimes naturally, encroach into our minds. Ezekiel 38:10 shows that the things that co

Contenders For Your Mind
05/06/2022 Duración: 04min"For the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other so that you do not do what you want." Galatians 5:17 Do you sometimes feel like you are at war with yourself? That your body and mind are constantly in conflict? According to Scripture, the flesh craves what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are opposed to each other so that you do not do what you want. (Galatians 5:17). Like oil and water, the flesh and the Spirit cannot mix. They are in opposition to each other, and this can be seen in how we humans often crave things contrary to God's will in our lives. Remember, the mind can be regarded as a battlefield where so many thoughts and ideas strive to win the battle. Whomever you eventually yield yourself to will be in control of your mind. If your mind can be controlled, then it is certain that your life can be controlled. The devil is much more interested in gaining control over our mind

Living Life According to God's will!
04/06/2022 Duración: 04min"Your kingdom comes your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." Mathew 6:10. How to let go and allow God to lead your life? This is a question that many people struggle with. The issue is that we often think that we know what is best for ourselves, and we don't want to let go. But in reality, this approach only leads to disappointment and frustration. The key to successful living is learning to trust God and allow Him to direct our lives. When we do this, we are guaranteed to have a better experience in life. Follow God's plan for your life and be blessed beyond measure Surrendering your will is far beyond prayer. It's not just about praying for things to happen but being willing to give up the steering wheel of your life to God. To be a disciple of Christ, you must understand the importance of letting go of your will in all areas of life. This is not an easy task, but it is vital if you want to follow Jesus. When you surrender your will to Him, you no longer withdraw from the process; you allow God to g

Access to God's Secret Room!
03/06/2022 Duración: 04min"It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out." Proverbs 25:2 Do you ever feel like you're missing something? Or like you're not quite in touch with your spiritual side? Maybe you've heard about " God's secret room" meant for special people and purposes. If so, you're not alone. The secret room is just a part of the divine plan, and through it, God will reveal his plans for you. So, today take time to meditate on today's devotional because confidential information is nonpublic information that can be accessed anyhow. When most people think of prayer, they think of just talking to God. They might picture themselves pouring their heart out to Him without any response. But what if prayer is something more? What if it's not just a way to just communicate with God but also a way to access His secret room and receive the key that unlocks God's plan for our lives? Because prayer is a spiritual key that gives you access to God's secret room. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You will s

The Transformative Power of Prayer! Part Two
02/06/2022 Duración: 04min"And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive if you have faith." Matthew 21:22 There's no denying the transformative power of prayer. Countless people from all walks of life have attested to the life-changing effects of prayer, from overcoming addiction to finding inner peace. A prayer is a form of communication with God, whatever that may be for you. Prayer can be a way to express your deepest desires, ask for guidance and release stress. When you pray, you're opening yourself up to receive help and support from heaven. This spiritual connection can help you find solutions to your problems and give you a sense of peace and understanding. Prayer is a personal practice that can have profound effects on your life. If you're looking for a way to find peace and guidance, prayer may be just what you need, and you don't need too many words to start with. It's important to remember that prayer is not only about talking too much or speaking heavy grammar but about your heart and whom you connect with. When Jesus

The Transformative Power of Prayer!
01/06/2022 Duración: 04min"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 No matter what life throws our way, the stars are always visible from the high vantage ground of prayer. Anyone who can pray in truth and Spirit to God sees the heavens as never dark. Remember, prayer was another great source of light and strength to Christ - in fact, it was one of his favorite things to do. So it's no wonder that he told us, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20). As Christ wandered through the desert, he must have felt tempted by the devil to give up. He was tired, dehydrated, and weak. But, he pushed through and ultimately accomplished his mission with prayer. Christ's experience teaches us that brighter days are coming. No matter how bad things seem, we must never give up. The Brighter Days are Coming! Part Two
31/05/2022 Duración: 04min"Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, with which all the hills will flow." Amos 9:13 In times of darkness, it's important to remember that brighter days are coming. I am sure God has spoken to you before, and He is reminding you again that "weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning" (Psalm 30:5). God has always been a God of hope, and he never fails to keep his promises. This is something we can hold onto amid trials and heartache. One of the most famous examples is from the book of Amos. God promises that despite the darkness of the present moment, he has a plan for a glorious future: "I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them in their land, and they will never again be up

Brighter Days are Coming!
30/05/2022 Duración: 04min"Surely, there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off." Proverbs 23:18 There will always be some brighter day, no matter how bad the present may seem. This is a message of hope that can offer comfort to people going through tough times. The future is always full of possibilities, and it is important to remember that things can always get better. When things are tough, it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But it is important to remember that tomorrow is always a new day. It is never too late to turn things around and find happiness again. Romans 12:12 says, "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." There is always hope for the future. It may not be easy to see things getting better, but it is important to have faith in God. The future is full of possibilities, and there is no telling what may happen. So don't give up hope. Remember that there is always going to be some brighter day. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, and the future is always

Don't Forget: Life has Purpose at Every Stage! Part Four
29/05/2022 Duración: 04min"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18 When something is wrong in our lives, it's natural to want to complain about it. We want to share our misery with someone and have them commiserate with us and forget that every stage of life has a purpose. But does complaining actually make us feel any better? According to a study published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, the answer is no. On the contrary, complaining only makes people more miserable. The study participants were asked to keep a journal for two weeks. Then, every day, they were asked to write about either a positive or negative event that had happened that day. The people who wrote about negative events felt worse than those who wrote about positive ones. Interestingly, the people who wrote about more negative events also complained more than those who wrote about fewer negative events. Psalm 78:32 says, "Despite all this, they continued sinning;

Don't Forget: Life has Purpose at Every Stage! Part Three
28/05/2022 Duración: 04min"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 There is no stage of life where God is not present and working. He is with us in the good times and the tough times. We may not always be aware of Him, but He is always with us. Even when we are born, God is there, working in our lives. He has a purpose for each of us, and we can find His passion for our lives by looking at the stages of life. As we go through different phases, we can see how God works in our lives and what His plan is for us. We can trust that God will be with us every step, guiding us and supporting us as we journey through life. He is with us in the good times and the tough times. No matter our stage in life, we can always find purpose in it through Him. In the early years, we learn and grow in the knowledge of God. We begin to develop our character and learn how to interact with the world around us. We are constantly learning and growing durin

Don't Forget: Life has Purpose at Every Stage! Part Two
27/05/2022 Duración: 04min"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 It is hard to see the purpose when you are going through a tough time. You may be asking yourself, "Why is this happening to me?" or "What did I do to deserve this?" It is often difficult to find God's motive for the current level of our life. But remember, every stage of life has a purpose. The Bible says that we can trust God's plan, even when we don't understand it (Romans 8:28). He knows what He is doing, even when we don't. So instead of focusing on our troubles, let's focus on God. When you focus on God, you'll find that your troubles don't seem so big anymore. So instead of worrying about what's going to happen tomorrow or how you're going to get through this tough time, let's pray and ask Him to help us see His plan for our lives. When we do that, we'll be able to trust Him more, knowing that He knows what's best for us, even when we can't see it ourselves. God's

Don't Forget: Life has Purpose at Every Stage!
26/05/2022 Duración: 04min"The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands." Psalm 138:8 The purpose of life is a question that has puzzled humans for centuries. Yet, some people believe that life has a specific purpose and that it's important to remember what it is. Whether you believe in a higher power or an unseen force, there are things you can do to help make your life more fulfilling and fulfilling. However, it is important to remember that life has a purpose at every stage. Either you are in a gloomy, rosy, and wealthy or a wretched, unhappy, moody position. Remember that every stage of life is for a purpose. Don't assume that because you are too smart, that is why you are blessed or attain a good job. Do not let your perspective of the current condition diminish the purpose of God in your life. Instead, try to find out God's motive for the current level of your life. It may be something as simple as a job or something like saving lives and having a d

The Mystery Behind Judah's Success!
25/05/2022 Duración: 04min"Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue." Psalm 66:16-17 House of Judah has been thriving for centuries. Yet, its success is a mystery to scholars and religious leaders alike. What does the House of Judah believe? What secret methods does it use to grow and flourish? The tribe of Judah happens to be one of the twelve tribes of Israel. Judah was the fourth son of Jacob and his first wife, Leah. The tribe of Judah is only made up of two tribes (Judah and Benjamin). They are represented with the symbol of a lion to show that they are powerful; some say because Jacob in his blessings to them, called them the lion whelps. That is why they represent themselves with a lion. That's true, but not the only reason. The house of Judah took the lead in the family's affairs and prevailed above their brethren (1 Chronicles 5:2; Genesis 44:14). God commissioned them to lead in the conquest of the promised land (Judges 1

How Your Choices Define You! Part Eight
24/05/2022 Duración: 04min"Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord." 2 Peter 1:2 It is interesting to think about what we would do if we knew that our time on earth was short. This may be a scary thought, while others may see it as an opportunity for a fresh start. But, no matter how you feel about it, one thing is for sure: once your time on earth is up, you will no longer have the option of choosing what you want to do with life. After death, you will be living in one of two places – either in Heaven or in Hell. Of course, some people might say that this isn't really a choice and that our lives are predetermined by fate. But even if that's the case, it doesn't change that we still have the opportunity to choose what we want to do with our lives. We can choose to follow our destiny, or we can choose to go against it. It's up to each person to decide what they want to do with their lives. As the proverb always says that "you can force a horse to the river, but you can't force it to drink
