"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:14 Most times, believers allow their experience or that of others to determine their view of God. But this ought not to be so. Just like no one knows you better than yourself, no one knows God better than Himself. That is the reason why Jesus severally made statements such as this "...No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." Matthew 11:27. "...for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father who is in heaven (Matthew 16:17). "Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you then, Show us the Father? (John 14:9)'. His disciple also affirms the same fact 'No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him (John 1:18)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
