Jack's Silly Little Friendly Neighborhood Star Trek Discovery Podcast

Jack loads up Skype, and the enigmatic and inscrutable Sean and Sam emerge from the mist, flashing a complex series of lights and spraying him with hydrocarbons. Classic. Using math, and Chingy lyrics, Jack was able to translate these into audio signals and a podcast, and found out they were just talking about Species 10-C. There are orbs in that hyperfield!

Jaxilly is bouncing back to Picard again, and Picardigans Barm and Kevin Young are here for the wild ride as Picard and crew find themselves trapped in a world they never made! Thrill to what is now in retrospect the peak of excitement for Picard Season 2 as the boys talk joys, specifically of digital cats, Alison Pill monologues, Borg Queen Questions, Okinawa boners, Harveys, and of course, SKULLS, SKULLS, SKULLS! Like the one with the whales, it’s the conclusion of the Sam, Sean and Jack spend around four hours phasering the shit trilogy that just kind of happened this season as they close out the weird artificial “mid-season finale” of Disco.  Sean gets his wish, as Stamets and David Cronenberg get into it over AI. "Anomaly" is the 54th episode of the American science fiction television series Star Trek: Enterprise, the second episode of the third season. The episode was written by co-producer Mike Sussman and directed by David Straiton, his fifth for the show.  Set in the 22nd century, the series follows the adventures of the first Starfleet starship Enterprise, registration NX-01. Season three of Enterprise features an ongoing story following an attack on Earth by previously unknown aliens called the Xindi. In this episode, the Enterprise is attacked by an Osaarian vessel, and in pursuit they discover that the aliens have information on the Xindi which they must retrieve to help them on their mission.

Disco Season 4 coverage finally begins, and in the best way possible!  With another round of the Jack stupidly lost his audio game. Fortunately, it’s Sam to the rescue as he and Jack hop back in to record new audio to awkwardly mesh with Sean and Barm (and a certain hop-on)’s audio, making this episode simultaneously a discussion and a reaction, two months old and also a week old, nonsensical and yet penetrating. An overly complicated but fitfully intriguing mess; truly worthy of  the name Discovery! We’re back!
