World Superbike starts soon! The pack does not think that he rules changes that attempt to limit Rea are actually going to have any impact on the outcome of the season. We talk about the Supercross from San Diego!!! There was some wild racing action on a very tight track.  The layout forced some hard racing both in the 250 and 450s!  That tight track resulted in some of the most aggressive passes of the season, most were all just part of the race but not all.  The biggest event of the night was Ken Roczen crashing into Copper Webb just after Webb had executed a hard but fully straight up pass.  Roczen was not going to have any of that and tried to retake his position with a hard pass of his own.  BUT, Phil and I think that his injuries from last season prevented him from controlling the motorcycle and CRASH, BANG, BOOM! Roczen gets the worse of the feud with a broken hand and out of the race.   Webb had some real damage to his bike but managed to stay in the race but finished near the bottom.  Turns out that Webb and Roczen have some real hard feeling that have even spread to the social media.  What are they feuding about…a girl of course!  Turns out that Webb is datin

THIS is hard to believe! Phil wants to punch his man-crush, JD Beach, in the face! Phil is upset that Jiggy Dog did not race in the Oakland Supercross.  Which he would have totally won had he entered! There is going to be a World Superbike Race in Ireland for 2019.  Does that mean that they are going to drop another race or just add another stop? Supercross finally gives us what the DawgHouse has called for, an early start to a west coast race.  It was so early that Warren missed the early heats!  Big P, Aaron Plessinger and Jason Anderson take care of business while Eli Tomac still struggled.

The X-Games was what capture the attention this weekend!  The snow bike cross and hill climb drag races really grabbed Phil and Warren (Ken did not see them).  The oldest guy at the X-Games “Grandpa” Travis Whitlock won the gold in the hill climb and Cody Matechuk earned the gold in the snow bike cross.  The DawgHouse highly recommends that you check out these events from somewhere on the web! Ken makes a rare cameo appearance on the DawgHouse this week.  While said “I am not here to say I told you so.”  He made sure that we knew he was right on Ken Roczen’s return to Supercross. Speaking of Supercross there was some great racing in Glendale, AZ this past weekend.  Ken again points out that Ken Roczen is near the top in points and that the other 450 riders should be scared, even though Eli Tomac had a convincing win. The guys were quite taken at “Big P” Aaron Plessinger’s second Supercross win of the season in the 250 class.  Defending champ Anderson is still is performing to last years level. .

1st EVER Supercross Triple Crown Event – 6 Main Events!!! In the 450s Eli Tomac is back, Ken Roczen may or may not be back.  The 250s saw rookie Chase Sexton do well with an 8th overall but the regulars clean up overall. The 2018 X-Games WINTER has 3 motorcycle related events.  Ever heard of a “Snowbike”?  Here is a teaser pic of one.  

Some encouraging MotoAmerica news. Interesting Flat Track News Supercross hits Houston and things get Funky!

Supercross kicked off the 2018 season with some great racing. We open the show talking about the how we like the new format of the race night, and we talk about the new metal girds at the starting line.  Looks like Supercross might be on to something good here! Moving on to the 250s we talk about the heat races and the final.  The winner, Shane McElrath, look strong all evening and is going to be in the running all season.  Cianciarulo and Plessinger completed the podium.  Phil made an augment that Cianciaurlo is in the west to prepare him to move up to the 450s next season.    The Supercross 450s saw a lot of action with one of the big names, Eli Tomac, not finishing the night due to a crash and a saggy pants.  Ken Roczen started is comeback season in decent fashion and Justin Barcia becomes the happiest man in Supercross.

Phil has to do an epic journey to the arctic circle this week, so the show can’t go on. Speaking of epic journey… Warren tells us about the most dangerous rides. This show is not live We will be back live next Tuesday to talk Supercross!!!  

On this week’s show… Ken is here for today only! Phil wants to you to know about new Department of Transportation rules regarding towing trailers.  If you pull a motorcycle or car to the racetrack you might be subject to the new rules.  If you have sponsor stickers on your race bike and your trailer is 10,000 pounds you are a commercial tow and subject to the same rules as commercial haulers. If you get pulled over you might be stuck on the side of the rode until you can hire a commercial driver. Ken is gloating about how right he was on the return of Ken Roczen to Supercross.  Phil and Warren are still not sure he will make it to race day.  

Phil’s head is too big to fit though the studio door! JD Beach wins, AS WE PREDICTED the 2017 Suerprestigio!!!! He may have had a shaky start but he dominates the final race! Another American Briar Bauman 14 takes second place in this international, invitational event. Looks like American Flat Track is putting the world on notice. Does this mean he is setting up his second career? MotoGP expanding the use of electronic messaging, would it help to get Lorenzo out of the way? Phil and Warren poo-poo’s some web troll’s statement that Mark Marquez can win on any bike.  Aprilia anyone? KTM will race 5 MotoGP “wild card” with Mika Kallio as the racer. Triple M Honda hires PJ Jacobson for WBSK…. 2 Americans on the same series….. Fireblade  

JD “Jiggy Dog” Beach is going to race in the Super Prestigio… Phil says he is going to finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and straddle the podium. The MAG group files Chapter 11… no biggie until you realize they own J&P Cycles, RentHal, Vance and Hines, Performance Machine and a bunch of other motorcycle companies. Yamaha is doing a stock sell… what do they need the money for?  Maybe to buy out Rossi?  LOL

WE thought he might have been going to MotoAmerica.  Oh well. MotoAmerica’s Josh Hayes is no longer racing….and it was not his choice according to Phil.  He is being backfilled by Garrett Gerloff on factory Yamaha.  Josh is going to be the Yamaha brand ambassador. How many passengers can ride on a 500cc Royal Enfiled?  There is a new world record for the number of passengers!  

The 2017 MotoGP series ends with Pedrosa, Zarco and Marquez going 1,2,3 and Marquez winning the championship! Oh and about Marquez… just what in the hell was he thinking?!?!? Team orders? Jorge does not need team orders at Ducati? Rossi and Vinales go to the 2016 chassis but it did not really help. Zarco and the Tech 3 team really out performed the factory team which means factory Yamaha will be going back to the drawing board. In the commercial world Yamaha goes crazy at the Tokyo Motor Show!  

World Superbike 2017 season is done.  All hail KING REA!  Oh… and he broke a 15 year record in doing so! But the weekend from Losail racetrack in Qatar was not without excitement.  Chaz Davies had the save of the season, even breaking his wind screen with his body.  American Jake Gagne finishes well, will that get him a team spot next year? We also talk about the upcoming MotoGP race! Will Rossi kick over Marquez?  Will Crazy Joe get one more crash in before the season is over?       www.ijustwant2ride.com

J Rea is really putting his stamp on this year’s World SuperBike Championsip with another double.  Racing at Jerez Rea dominated the field while Melandri and van der Mark raced hard to see where they would onto the podium. In MotoGP Warren got to watch Moto3 at a comedy show.  In MOTO2 KTM put on a great race with Miguel Oliveira taking a win and his KTM partner Brad Binder in second.  Points leader Marc VDS’ Franco Morbidelli, finished third.  In other MOTO2 news we talked about SIC Racing Team and rider Hafizh Syahrin getting back into MOTO2. Regarding the premier class race at Philp Isle….. WOW!!!  This was the best racing of the season!  This was as close to the paint trading and physical, elbows and knees, NASCAR racing as you can get without duct tape holding on fenders.  This is a race you must see to believe.  

Money Musquin wins BIG in Vegas!!!! Moto3 has it’s first 10 time winner, WOW! Moto2 was not what we expected. MotoGP, the Japan GP, rain and Honda and rain and Ducati!    

World Superbike was at Magny Cours (light). We also talk about how Rea affected the racing pool! American FLat Track Finale at Perris.  Some of the MotoAmerica racers rode in this event.  JD Beach even finished on the podium. Ben Spies might be back?!?!  For MotoAmerica? CoverGirl Makeup has a new CoverGirl model…and she races motorcycles.
