MotoGP from Assen – WOW an 8 man race to the end.  Has not been a race like this in a long time!  What’s up with Zarco?  Rins put on a show. Flat Track racing from Lima in the twins …. yawn!  But in the singles Husky gets it first win! Motocross from South Wick – Was it a racing incident between Martin and Forkner?  Is Martin from Canada?  

Our personal hero runs both Motoamerica and World Superbike and does a pretty good job! The REA rule is not having any impact. Johnny boy is just running away with the season, it’s his championship to lose already. Motoamerica has some really good racing, JD Beach wins again, BTW. Motocross was at the Tennessee Nationals. Alex Martin crashes his chance to win the weekend.  OH… how about winning the overall for the weekend without winning a race.

Motocross from High Point!  250’s -Big P Aaron Plessinger takes full advantage of Osborne’s absence.  Alex Martin has issues that cost him points.  450’s – Eli Tomac and Marvin Musquin really go at it, the first time Tomac looked normal this year. MotoGP was in Catalunya – Moto 2 was a crazy race.  Quartararo? Oliveria starts in 17th? Crazy day in Moto2!   In MOTOGP who would have thunk JLo?  Or Rabat flaming out? Summit Point Raceway in the local news…just might impact local motorcycle racers and track days. Warren takes a road trip to Custom Dynamics to check out their HQ. Flat track from OKC – .02 separates 1st to 3rd in the singles!  No changes in the 450s (Twins LOL).      

World Superbike race one Rea sets a new record for the number of wins and signs up for two more years with Kawasaki!  BUT in race 2 Sykes wiped out Rea allowing Lowes to take a win… LOWES wins, LOWES wins! ALL NEW – SILLY SEASON NEWS Joan Mir, Hector Barbara, Josh Herrin, Jason Uribe,      

The earth has stopped turning… PHIL is loving MotoAmerica racing!  Race one of superbike was the best MotoAmerica racing of the season WOW.  Josh Herrin, Toney Ellis, JD Beach = awesome racing. Motocross from Thunder Valley!  In the 250s the Martin brothers were the most consistent and had the best finish overall.  In the 450’s Eli Tomac is still the class of the class but Roczen is looking better and better. MotoGP was in Mugello…Lorenzo wins?  Did not think we would say that this year. A lot of MotoGP silly season action including Lorenzo to HONDA????? WTF

Flat Track is in Springfield! World Superbike was at Donington Park, Warren started a Rea Rumor could he be right? MotoCross at Glen Helen. How fast can one guy be?

The Indian Wreaking Crew is up to sweeping the win again. We also get another new winner in the singles Kevin Stollings. In World Superbike ….. yawn….. Rea doubles.  On the bright side, Rea ties a record for most wins and most doubles. Hells Angles become Cyber-Bullies????  WTF History Channel is going to recreate Evel Knievel.  3 jumps in 3 hours…. wow!

American Flattrack was at Calistoga. Phil and Warren head to VIR for MotoAmerica. Fun ensues. MotoGP is in Jerez. If not for bad luck Dovi would have no luck at all. Supercross wraps up it’s season in Mexico no no wait Las Vegas…………. What the hell man?

The final TRIPLE CROWN event for Supercross from snowy Minnesota!  But Eli Tomac and Marvin Musquin heat up the 450s but the big winner was Anderson!  In the 250s Jeremy Martin and Zach Osborne were the big winners of the night.  Austin Forkner and Cooper Web have bad evenings both breaking bones! In World Superbike round 2 from Aragon it was the Davies/Rea show.   Some great racing but the same guys at the top. MotoAmerica from Road Atlanta where the 1st women podiums. Jaime Astudillo places 3rd in the 2nd Juniors race.  Toni Elias wins both Superbike events in very wet/rainy conditions.  JD Beach and Hayden Gillim (riding the Rickdiculous Racing Yamaha) split the SuperSports.  OH … and wait till you hear about Josh Herrin  !!!!!!!!!!!

American Pro Flattrack in Atlanta. Supercross is in soupy soggy Seattle. Plessinger makes a Splash. MotoGP in Argentina can be it’s own stand alone show today!

No racing this week, but Phil does some benching racing and thoughts as we enter into Round 2 of Flattrack, MotoGp and the post break Supercross Season.

The Rumormill is running strong right now! MotoGP Rumors, BSB News and WSBK Rumors!!! WSBK hits Thailand, What is going on with everyone there? How are the Americans doing? Supercross is in Indy, First East West Showdown in the 250’s and an almost Carmichaelesque performance in the 450’s!

WOW…. where do we start…. MOTOGP, Moto2, Flat Track, Daytona 200, Drag Racing, Supercross!!!!! Hector Arana Jr becomes the 1st to break 200MPH on the Pro Stock Motorcycle tour. Two red plates going into the 250 Supercross final, but only one comes out!  Phil was cheering Austin Forkner to get into a fight….WHAAAA? Eli Tomac dominated the night but it is still Jason Anderson’s Championship to lose!  What is going on with Money Marvin Musquin?   OH, and Phil has a tweet liked by the GOAT! Flat Track kicks off the season with the Daytona TT!  LOTS of great racing with a bunch of MotoAmerica and wild card racers doing well.  Wonder if Phil still wants to punch JD “Jiggy Dogg” Beach?  JD finished 2nd in the twins! Oh and then there was MotoGP…. Moto2 was uneventful really but the finish of premier race was AWESOME.  Dovi and Marquez fighting into the last turn and…. tune in to hear!

A few weeks ago Phil wanted to punch JD “Jiggy Dog” in the face.  To day he is much happier, now that JD is going to race at a couple different Flat Track stops!  Speaking of Flat Track maybe our discussion of Alta and Harley last week has inspired someone…. Looks like Alta/Harley(?) might be putting a bike into Supercross soon!  Singing “I always feel like somebody’s watching meeeeeeeeeeeeee” OH and  American Flat Track starts it’s season at Daytona this Thursday! We talk some MotoGP because MotoGP starts their season at Qatar this weekend!  We discuss how the pool is set up and how Moto2 is wide open for someone new to jump up. Supercross raced in Daytona with a first time winner in the 450s! Can Marvin Musquin get a break?  Eli Tomac is looking awesome… but to little to late it looks like.

Harley invests in an electric motorcycle company. Phil has a genius idea. Tech 3 will be heading to KTM. Warren called it. Supercross commits a superblunder.

Supercross returns to Tampa and there was some fun racing in both 250 and 450 classes!  The track was a major player in the racing the sand section was the whoops run and impacted more then a few of the racers.  We have nick named one of the riders Spider-Man, listen to find out who. Phil and Warren are also calling for a Women’s Division in Supercross.  We recommend dropping the LCQs for 2 women’s heats and adding a women’s main!  Make it happen!!! World Superbike held it first round of 2018 at Phillips Island, AU.  Perianal winner Rea did not do as well as expected but better than might have expected due to having the flu.  With the way the Motorcycles were performing it looks like we could have more than a few different race winners this season.  The Ducati’s and Kawasaki’s seem to be more on par then last year. Big Changes coming to MotoGP, how about Tech 3 becoming KTM or Suzuki?   www.ijustwant2ride.com
