With Aotearoa being moved into the red light traffic system, due to Covid, our music and entertainment industry has come to a halt with all events with more than 100 people cancelled or postponed. This not only hugely affects musicians and artists - but many behind the scenes. Sarin Moddle is one of them. She works in live music production which translates as Tour Management, Production & Site Coordination, Artist Liaison, and Promoter Representation. She's had a very huge week speaking to the media about the crisis point the NZ Music & Entertainment industry faces without targeted public sector support.

The Aotearoa Music Awards are happening tomorrow. Along with a brand new name, the massive event takes a different shape this year. Due to Covid-19, there's no red carpet and no table seating. Auckland producer Sola Rosa, real name Andrew Spraggon has just released his seventh studio album Chasing the Sun. He dropped into RNZ to chat to music 101’s Charlotte Ryan, and to perform live with his all-star band.
