Lontalius is one of the local names on the lineup at Laneway 2019. He spoke to Tony Stamp about songwriting in LA, writing in different genres, and the choice to include pronouns in his lyrics.

Opal Ocean are an acoustic guitar duo who met in Melbourne, but who both have roots in New Zealand. Kirsten Johnstone got them in the studio to play a couple of songs and tell their story of going from busking to the Montreaux jazz festival.

John Psathas one of NZ’s most famous composers, having written music for the 2004 Olympic games, for world renowned performers, for films, and collaborated with artists such as Warren Maxwell and Serj Tankian. He speaks to Kirsten Johnstone and plays some of the songs that have meant the most to him.

Andrew Scheps is a mix engineer who has worked on some notable albums, and won Grammy awards for three of them. Currently in Auckland hosting workshops as part of the NZ Music Producer Series, he spoke to RNZ's Tony Stamp.
