After two weeks of no show (first due to flu, then due to being out of town) Bilgemunky Radio returns with its usual brilliant mix of pirate tunes! This week introducing Brine&Bastards with their new CD, Set Sail for S***my! Yarrr!!!

After two weeks of technical difficulties, the live show finally went off without a glitch! Two new bands tonight - The Bone Island Buccaneers, and Pirates for Sail! Also, Bilgemunky waxes poetic about his Taco Bell seasoning.

Bilgemunky Radio was again hit by technical difficulties, forcing Bilgemunky to go off the air and perform a full system restore on his computer (grumble grumble.) But have no fear, podcast listeners - everything's been edited and patched, and you wouldn't even know there had been a problem if we didn't keep talking about it. Tonight's show featured some new stuff from Sharks Come Cruisin' and Peregrine, plus loads of other great pirate tunes!

OK, so we admit to this being an afterthought. Heck, we almost forgot about Valentine's Day altogether. But we remembered at the last minute, and charged up the playlist with some special, lovey-dovey pirate songs. Anne Bonney Loves Major Stede, The Rum Wench, and Pirate Love are only a few of the beauties that graced this week's show.

It was an exciting show, with the long-awaited return of the Scurvy Dogs and their brilliantly off-kilter take on pirate music!

It's Bilgemunky's birthday episode, and we celebrated with plenty of rum, special audio greetings from pirate bands, and awesome pirate music, including the Karkadens, Budd Bay Buccaneers, Tom Lewis, and much much more!

Song requests flew fast and furious in the IRC chatroom during the recording of tonight's episode - Pirate Jenny, Ceann, Tom Lewis, Musical Blades, and the Ben Gunn Society were only a few of the bands our listeners craved!

We ring in the new year with a slight format change as Bilgemunky Radio is reduced to 2 hours, and After Dark is extended to 1. That aside, it's more of the great pirate music you love!

Being the last show of 2007, Bilgemunky Radio closed out the year with the expected high standards of pirate music, as well as some exciting new songs from Bounding Main, The Brigands, and the Skeleton Crew Pirate Band! Tonight's show also featured an interview with Captain Phleabag of the Jolly Garogers, as we discussed the new 2 CD set, Lafitte's Return!

After two weeks (oh, the dread) of no Bilgemunky Radio, pirate music has returned with the full awsomeness of christmas chanteys by Captain Dan, Tom Smith, and Hucklescary Finn. And that says nothing of an incredible new remix by the Salt Sea Pirates!
