Tonight we mark the occasions of Blackbeard's and Calico Jack Rackham's untimely demises with a helping of songs dedicated to each. Musical Blades, Roy Mette, the Jolly Rogers, and many others all contribute music inspired by these infamous men. Also tonight, new music from Captain Bogg & Salty, and an excerpt from the new Lafitte's Return albums (volumes 3 and 4).

Tonight's show not only featured new music from There Be Pirates and B.O.O.M., but we also have Pirate Jenny news, and an online pirate party brewing in Second Life!

It was a long time coming, but well worth the wait - Alestorm, Scotland's premiere pirate-core band, has joined the ranks of Bilgemunky Radio featured artists! And the timing couldn't be better as they have a US tour coming in 2009. Details included in tonight's podcast!

Several birthday requests tonight, topped off by Bilgemunky's very own version of "The Devil's Son", dedicated to his mate Red Beard. Ears bled, but fun was had nonetheless. Tonight's show also featured new music from the Salt Sea Pirates and The Dreadnoughts.

Truth be told, tonight's broadcast had very little to do with Pastafarians, although we did play "Touched By His Noodly Appendage" by Pirates R Us. We also played lots of other great stuff, including We Are They, Mizzen, Jolly Ship the Whiz Bang, Captain Dan, Salt Sea Pirates, and much more!
