Who we choose as a base and the crew we surround ourselves with can make a huge difference in how we view events in our lives. The very things that we carry around with us can be used by God to make a difference in those around us. Where is your base? Who is in your crew?

We may never see the dark side of the moon from earth, but God, not only see’s it but knows it. He not only knows what’s there, but also how it came to be. We all have a dark side of the moon to our lives. As we walk with God, draw closer to him, he begins to surface and expose what was previously hidden, or that we tried to keep undisclosed.

Living the good life is best experienced in humility. We know that the enemy wants to stir up cares, worry, anxiety and pride, so we give our lives to walk humbly under God as our strength in everything. We intentionally stand firm, in a posture of resistance to every distraction the enemy uses to take from us the gracious life we have in Jesus.

Over the weekend we heard from our Next Gen Pastor Todd Jones. We don’t have to wait for circumstances to be good to call God good. What does it look like when we lean on faith in the face of hardship? How can the way we face struggles affect the people around us? 

We continue our Field Guide series in 1 Peter with a conversation about how we can live in the moment. We will learn together about how our everyday moments matter and ways we can live so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. 

This week we continue to discuss 1 Peter and unpack the 7 characteristics of healthy relationships with Tom Garasha. As we continue in our Field Guide to a good life, Pastor Owen dives into 1 Peter 3 with us and how it affects our lives today.Marriages are difficult even in the best circumstances. What can we do if our spouse isn’t following Jesus? Peter provides practical instruction to wives and husbands on how even in this situation we are called to show our spouse Jesus through our actions and choices. 

Our special guest Chad Robichaux shares with us how God used him to start Operation Save our Allies to do the unimaginable and evacuate 17,000 people from Taliban control in Afghanistan. His inspiring retelling of the operation is a glimpse into God's will, and our ability to choose to say yes to His mission while facing our own doubts and insecurities. Isaiah 6:8Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? This week we are breaking down 1 Peter 2 as we examine the calling on our lives to “live a good life”. Pastor John dives into the culture of the early Christians to offer further context about how we are called to live and why. Summer is finally here and we spent the weekend launching into our new summer series through the book of 1 Peter. Throughout the next two months, we will see how Peter presents us with a field guide to living the good life.This week we are looking at four ways that your birth in Jesus allows you to live a good life.

For our last week of our series, Inside The Circle, Pastor John closes us out by discussing the ways that spiritual habits and daily rhythms can help us to live the life we were created for in Jesus. Together we will see that the way we structure our spiritual habits will determine our victory in life.

This week we are continuing our conversation on the topic of our sin nature and how that relates to the victory we’ve received in Jesus. Last week we saw how sin no longer has mastery over us, but were left wondering how we can take the freedom we have and not give into sin and its patterns in our life. This week we have an amazing opportunity to join in on a conversation with our Next Gen Pastor, Todd Jones! When it comes to our victory that is found in Jesus, sometimes the lie that you’re not good enough distorts our understanding of our true identity. There is nothing this world can promise you because God already gave it to you. Join as we remove all our labels to find that our true identity and worth is found in our creator. 

We’re beginning a new series this week, titled Inside The Circle. Throughout this series we will see that we have been given everything we need in order to live victoriously - it all comes down to the way you drive your life. Because of our redemption and salvation in Christ, we have already won the race. We’re inside the circle, taking our victory lap -  celebrating the victory we have received.

What a blessing to spend Easter together and we are amazed and overwhelmed by the things that God did all throughout the weekend and by the things He is still doing. The stories are flooding in of the ways that God moved within each individual heart and of the ways people encountered Jesus. This is something worthy of celebrating!

If you’re like us, there have been many moments when it seems like God is silent, leaving our prayers unheard and unanswered. For the last week of our series “When you…”, Pastor John talks about these very moments. What now? God didn’t do what I wanted…The outcome of our prayers don’t determine our view of God. The true miracle isn’t in the healing, it’s in the moments when we trust in God, even though things don’t go the way you want. This week we are building our trust in Christ and clinging to the truth that is found in him.
