We are in our third week of our current series, The Ways of the Apprentice. This week Pastor Mike talks about taking our apprenticeship with Christ to the next level by the act of listening, servanthood and discipleship. "Being a servant of Jesus is good; being his disciple is better. Don't be one without the other". As we dive into the story of Mary and Martha, we find that this story was given to us so that we can find ourselves in the midst of it. In the second week of our series, The Ways of the Apprentice, Pastor John talks about the importance of living our life as if Jesus was living our lives for us. As we begin our new series, The Ways of the Apprentice, We hear from Pastor Ron about what it means to be a disciple. We see that a disciple is a learner and follower, imitating that of their leader. What does that mean for us as followers of Jesus Christ?As we look at the two main components of being a disciple of Jesus, we learn how we too can follow him, be with him and be sent out by him. "Whatever you're desiring will lead you to a source, and that source will lead you to an outcome".What is it that you're desiring? What is the source of that desire? And fruit is being produced as an outcome? These are all things that we discuss as we turn our perspective to the desires of God. 

What is it that God is up to - in both your personal life and in the world in its entirety? This is a question that Pastor Ron brings up, discussing practical ways in figuring out what God is doing. We are challenged to look at the lessons that God seems to be revealing to us and to also look for clues to a bigger picture, showing what God is doing in the grander scheme of things.Even when we don't have all of the answers or when we don't have a full understanding, we can trust and find peace in knowing that God has our best interest at heart and that he cares about us. 

The practice of Lament is an honest prayer and expression towards God that ultimately leads us to better trust him, and it is seen all throughout the Bible.In this weeks message, Pastor John walks us through the idea of what it means to lament and he discusses the importance of being honest with God; producing in us a greater trust in him. This week we are challenged to step into this action of lament, bringing our worries, sorrows, and struggles to God in an honest expression. Let's approach God, laying everything down at his feet, knowing that he is bringing us new mercies every day.

In this weeks message "Developing Discernment", Paster Ron takes us through Psalms 119 while discussing the importance of growing your spiritual discernment.Join us as we take a closer look at what spiritual discernment is and how we can go about growing in it. We challenge you to invite God to cultivate spiritual discernment within you; gaining spiritual eyes, ears, and hearts that creates change not only in your own life, but also in the lives of those around you. 

In a world of uncertainty, love still remains.In a message titled "Love Reveals", Pastor John teaches us about how love is the driving force behind the character of God and how "your loving reveals your knowing".Who is it that you need to love today? It's through the love that you express that you're able to exemplify who God is, gifting others with a greater glimpse of who he is.
