An interesting new CNN poll is out and it seems that nearly half of the public believes that the nation is on the verge of another Great Depression.  That’s an amazing statistic especially when one considers that most people sit firmly looking out of the rear view mirror on these sorts of things. That’s to say that at most times, most people assume that the recent past will approximate the near term future.  Given that, the fact that nearly half of the public sees a Great Depression is profound.  Either the people have become a bunch of Chicken Littles or they’re seeing and experiencing something far different than  the recent past.

Team Obama is looking more desperate these days.  The signs of desperation are clearly visible—Obama playing to a half-packed house in Miami, Obama using increasingly shrill arguments that his job creation efforts are working, Geithner’s threats regarding the debt ceiling and the Democrat-influenced mainstream media’s increasing criticisms of the Republican slate of presidential primary candidates.  If Obama’s policies are so successful and if the country is doing so well, why do Americans see this growing desperation in Team Obama?  

Despite the mass media news blackout, a series of books, talk radio and the blogosphere have managed to expose Barack Obama's connections to his radical mentors, Weather Underground Bombers Bill Ayers and bernadine Dohrn, Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis and Others. 

History has a habit of repeating itself, and yet our politicians seem to ignore it.  As you can see, the unions destroyed the American auto industry, and yet the Democrats want to do away with the secret ballot and replace it with a card check system so the unions can increase in all industries.  There is no doubt that this is what they wish to do while destroying the auto industry by the unions is still fresh in their minds.  Can you just imagine the retail industry, food industry, medical industry, gas stations, and all sorts of industries being controlled and destroyed by the unions?  I doubt very much if even that would cause dismay to the Democrats.  They would just want to bail out those unions and keep the circle of nefarious actions in place.

Liberals seem to have a tough time deciphering certain portions of the writings of our Founding Fathers. Specifically, the Bill of Rights really seems to trip them up. For example, they read the Second Amendment protecting the right of the people to keep and bear arms to mean a right to carry a gun only if you are in the National Guard.  Now the fact that the National Guard did not exist at the time the Constitution was written does not faze Liberals, they simply dislike what the Bill of Rights says so they create a new definition for it. A definition, which suits their agenda of limited liberties instead of, limited government.

It seems that every time a politician or any other person of celebrity employs the phrase “America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles” the left, Liberals, Democrats, mainstream media and educators go ballistic.  Ranting and raving and infuriated that anyone would mention God in the same sentence with America.  The liberals insist America is a secular nation and God played no part in the creation, forming, building or operations of our country.

Comparing the 2012 GOP Presidential Candidates The Grand Old Party (GOP), as the Republican Party is sometimes referred to, can trace its roots back to the United States Democratic-Republican Party, with an anti-monarchy, pro-decentralization and pro entrepreneur leaning, which it subsequently broke away from in 1854 owing to their increasingly leftist agenda. America clocked up a record last week. The latest drop in house prices meant that the cost of real estate has fallen by 33% since the peak – even bigger than the 31% slide seen when John Steinbeck was writing The Grapes of Wrath. The last president to be re-elected with unemployment above 7.2% was Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
