What if everything we've ever known about Church, is not like it is in Heaven? What if what we're comfortable with is not God? What if what makes us comfortable doesn't make Him comfortable? Church it's not about us. It's about Jesus, and God wants to break a culture of religion that is picky and preferential. God is wanting us to transition from singing about someone to seeing Him, for our worship to become about Him, and not just words we sing. As it is in Heaven. The challenge is sacrificing our will and choosing and trusting that what God wants is better than what I am sure is good. It's laying our crowns down. It's looking at Him and saying Holy, Holy, because He is worthy of all the praise on the Earth as it is in Heaven. William Wood, from Global Awakening, shares with us the importance of seeing ourselves through the lens of our Creator. "When we desire to be somebody else, or take on somebody else's identity, or find our identity through some other means, we create within ourselves a dual identity, which creates an internal conflict that can only bring trauma to the soul. It is so important to understand who we are in Christ, and discover who we were created to be. The best way to see who you are, is by seeing yourself through the lens of your Creator. When you see yourself through God's lens, and allow Him to define who you are, you won't see yourself as you are, you'll see yourself as you're created to be."

Jesus has all authority in the Earth. This is Jesus' earth, and He's looking for ambassadors who will possess it for Him as authorized representatives of Jesus, as God pleads through our lives for people to be reconciled to Him. Our lives should be a walking billboard, through our words and actions - "Be reconciled to God." It's our job to take back the earth, teaching people to obey and conform their lives to be like Jesus. Church, we have to stop apologizing about the message of Jesus on the Earth, while the Kingdom of Darkness is boldly shouting its agenda. It's Jesus' earth! Church, we have an assignment! It is God's original plan. It is to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to the Earth. It is through Jesus that we are redeemed from a dead spirit to a born again, living spirit that can house Holy Spirit. It's the same power as Jesus himself was anointed with to fulfill God's plan. Jesus used the power He was given to "do good" everywhere He went teaching, praying, laying on of hands, healing, delivering and pouring the Kingdom of Heaven into people. Maranatha is a groan and a prayer that before the return of Jesus will be the overwhelming cry of all of us, both individually and corporately - "COME LORD JESUS!" It is the plan of God that the Church, as His people, recover the Maranatha cry to determine that our lives are in alignment with His desire for us. From the very beginning, God's desire was Heaven on Earth. Jesus said to pray for the will of God to be on earth AS it is in Heaven. So we are to pray that Earth is the same way it is in Heaven. God assigned us to make Earth like Heaven from the beginning, when He put us in the Garden of Eden that we were to tend/work and keep/protect, as we increased it to spread around the world. Even the building of the Tabernacle and everything in it was God's pattern as it is in Heaven. We are to build our lives according to the pattern God gives us on the mountain, and not the pattern of the world. We should look, talk and live different, and not learn to follow the world's abominations against their gods, rather we are to conform and transform to be like Jesus. Will we be satisfied with little nibbles of bread for ourselves, or will we beg for loaves because someone is needing a miracle? The door may be shut now, but we keep knocking. We keep asking. If it is possible . . . nevertheless. On earth as it is in heaven involves submitting our on earth preferences to His in heaven will. Jesus dealt with sorrow in the midst of God's will. Just like Jesus, it is possible for us to be right where God wants us, and still experience struggle, anguish and grief. It doesn't mean God has abandoned us. But it is when we do what Jesus did. Jesus, dealing with the flesh, went a little farther, fell on His face and prayed to God. He gave God His own preference, and submitted and chose God's heavenly will. Do you have a "nevertheless" in your life that says, "Not what I want, but what you want God?" Are you praying for the will of God to be done in your life, or are you just praying trying to convince God to do what you want done? If our prayer time is only trying to convince God to give us what we want, we're not praying the way Jesus told us to pray. He taught us to pray the will of heaven to be done on the earth, not the will of earth to be done in heaven. His will is transformative and can take something that is and make it something different. We have a Father in heaven, and He and His Kingdom is our reality that rules over the earth. He is God. He is Holy. Jesus said for us to pray to our Father that His Kingdom (way, system) come. Christianity is a Kingdom with a King, and He is King Jesus! We serve Him, and not principles. Jesus also said for us to pray that the Father's Will be done on earth. We don't just talk about His will, but we pray that it is DONE. Earth is the the transformative object in Matthew 6, and Heaven is the model for earth to become like, and Jesus came to be a representative of heaven's principles and values that we align with. Like the children of Israel called to a place of promise, everyone of us, by His Word are called to something, and God places each one of us in a calling for a purpose. God is making oil. The Pressing is not your story. Becoming the Oil is your story through the crushing and pressing, just like an olive that first has to be crushed and then pressed. There are two millstones that can crush us. We can choose the millstone that crushes us and turns us into oil that God can come and consume, or we can choose the millstone tied around our neck to be drowned in the sea. Olives have so much oil to give that they are pressed three times. Many people will be pressed for the first pressing, where we give Him our "Sunday Best." Many people will be pressed to be useful and serve God. The third pressing is the everyday, who I really am oil. The oil in my home, how I treat my spouse and how I talk to my children oil. The Bridegroom is coming, you have to be pressed yourself. God is calling a people who will not just give them their best, or just serve Him with their works, but who will give ALL that the olive has to give. Family is the heartbeat of Heaven. Pentecost is not a weird denomination, it's a Jewish feast that literally means 50, and it falls 50 days after Passover. Holy Spirit is the Promise Jesus told the disciples to wait for, and is the one that came on the day of Pentecost. Holy Spirit is the person of Pentecost. Jesus baptizes us into Holy Spirit, and it is through Holy Spirit that we have supernatural influence in the midst of opposing forces to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to hand. Our hope is not found in horizontal solutions. Kingdom culture has vertical solutions that override natural realities. God is a god that wants to encounter you. The gifts of Holy Spirit are for each and every person, and we need His power in our lives to live victoriously. The Cup of Praise or The Wedding Cup is the fourth and final cup of Passover. Exodus 6:7 “I will take them as my own people, and I will be their God” sounds very much like the verse in Song of Solomon 6:3 “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” “I will take” in Hebrew means “to marry.” These verses are not just promises, they are a marriage proposal. God is asking the Hebrews: These are my promises and terms, will you marry me? Betrothal, called the kiddushin, is the Jewish ritual that takes place when making a covenant marriage. In Biblical times, the kiddushin was taken very seriously. The written words of the covenant are called the: Ketubah (ke-tu-bah). Once conditions of the covenant are discussed and agreed upon, the agreement is put in writing. The Ketubah or Word became the property of the bride. She would hold on to this document to protect her rights, and to be sure the groom kept his word. Once the Ketubah is signed by two witnesses, the couple would be legally married. The Old Testament

By God's grace we have been saved, rescued, healed, made whole. Saved isn't about "getting" saved, but rather about "becoming" saved. It's an ongoing, continual process of: "I have been saved," because Jesus saved us by dying on the cross; "I am being saved," as we are becoming who He wants us to become; and "I will be saved," when Jesus returns and takes us to heaven. And just like we go "through" a door to get somewhere, we go "through" faith to step into being saved, which God has already provided for us. We must put our faith in the condition provided to us by Jesus, and not circumstantial evidence. When were we "saved?" The Cross. We step into that condition when we receive it by faith. There are things about God's love, and a depth of His love that He wants to reveal to His Bride, the Church. The Gospel is a love story that He wants to restore. Love is who He is, and it is His motivation for everything He does. He wants to restore our first love to Him, the love that we have for each other as the body of Christ, and the love for others, outside the body of Christ. It is when our hearts and love are restored to the King that we are then able to freely love others. We are saved, healed and delivered based on who we are connected to - Jesus, and not based on what we're separated from. We can still be a "good person," and not participated in doing certain things, and still not be in a relationship with Jesus. Jesus is the Way, and the only Way. It's God's rules, cuz it's God's Heaven, and His Way offers the most inclusive life there is. He came to save the whole world, and apart from Him we can do nothing. We have to stay connected to Him for everything, and not just look for being rescued, but look for our Rescuer, not allowing the world to back us up from believing and speaking with zeal - the truth of His Word.
