New Year, new beer! First episode of 2020 and the first recording with our brand new board. We discuss when to stop saying Happy New Year and give you a GBS PSA about shortening 2020 to 20. We discuss UK's win in the Belk Bowl and also dive into some year-end NFL. It's our last College Football pick’em of the season and we're so sad that you may even hear a sad trombone. Human taxidermy in the news of the weird and of course we finish out with the first Take It or Leave It of the new year, including Aunt Becky in prison and raising money for Australia by sending nudes.

The last episode for 2019 has it all, even sports. Leigh, Lauren and Carrie talk about what they got for Christmas and what they liked and didn't like about 2019. Lauren gives her take on The Rise of Skywalker and what makes Star Wars and Star Trek different. If you don't want to nerd out with us, sports talk starts around 36:00. We all agree that more companies should offer the policy we talk about in news of the weird and the last take it or leave it of 2019.

Kindsey Bernhard from Wooden Cask Brewery joins the exclusive three peat guestomer club in this episode. She joins Carrie and Lauren to talk about some new beer offerings from Wooden Cask Brewery in Newport Kentucky and her experience building a house with Habitat for Humanity in Florida. We break down some college football topics, including why players should or shouldn't wear school colors to awards shows. Bowl swag discussion is on the table this week since CFB bowl season has begun. A really old fruitcake in this week's news of the weird and a lot of food topics in Take It or Leave It, including pasta baking for eight hours.

Nothing stops the GBS train. Lauren and Carrie are in the studio while Leigh is on the phone. We revisit the Peloton commercial, Carrie rides an electric scooter for the first time and Leigh does two concerts in two days. We pick four championship games this week and Lauren brings the fashion logic. Virtual reality cows in this week’s News of the Weird and Take It or Leave It is so hot, Leigh loses her shirt.

We discuss why College Basketball is or isn't watchable at the beginning of the season and wonder how many nicknames a school can have beyond their mascot. A new drink made out of onions is this week's News of the Weird and Take It or Leave It has everything you need from food, collapsible toilets and the best cat meme ever.

If a trip to France didn't keep us from recording an episode the POTUS coming to town certainly wouldn't stop us. We're all in studio and we are joined in this episode by Clay Ables, who joins the repeat guestomer club. Carrie rails against day light savings time, and wants to make sure that thanksgiving gets its fair holiday shake. We find the leader for the turnover trinket of the year and would totally leave our jobs for $17 million. Man vs. Bear is too weird not to be true and we have an electric broom, Cheetos ice cream, t-rex post-game and a band we forgot about having a reunion round out Take It or Leave It.

We are all back in Stanley Manor Studios for this episode. Carrie recaps her trip to Paris, including what it took to get home, which is a must hear story that may be a first in aviation history, but we can't be sure. Week 10 pick'em is probably the first time rickets has ever been mentioned in football. News of the Weird has us discussing a gem stone made out of a human body part and this is probably the funniest Take It or Leave It we have ever done, that may be due to the fact that Lauren didn't realize her beer was 8 percent.

The title of this week's episode says it all. Carrie's in France and Leigh and Lauren are in Lexington, but the magic of technology means we don't have to miss a show. Carrie talks about some Paris adventures, including checking out the local beer scene.
