We're consoling ourselves after the end of baseball season with lots of basketball talk this week. First we have U Penn Mens Basketball Coach Steve Donahue joins the show to talk everything from NIL, Realignment and Transfer, to the upcoming season and supporting the community through Coaches vs. Cancer. Then biographer Roland Lazenby, author of 30 books, joined us to talk about his latest on Magic Johnson.

It's the middle of Red October and we had plenty of baseball to talk with our guests. First we were joined by former Phillies CF and MLB Broadcaster Doug Glanville to talk break down the Phillies/Diamondbacks series and talk MLB Playoffs. Then we heard some great stories talking about this Phillies team and organization with Phillies World Series Champion Greg Dobbs.

We started the show breaking down the Phillies eliminating the Braves to move on from the NLDS, how the series went and what comes next in the NLCS against the Diamondbacks. Then we talked some about the 5-0 Eagles before touching on the start of the Flyers season, the Union finishing their season as they head to the playoffs and more.

We started the show talking Phillies playoffs before being joined by Sixers Writer Keith Pompey from out at training camp in Colorado to talk about the team, the James Harden situation, the stadium fight and more. Then we were joined by fmr. NBA Player and Author Dean Tolson to talk about his new book Power Forward: My Journey from Illiterate NBA Player to a Magna Cum Laude Master's Degree.

We opened the show talking the big NBA Trade sending Damian Lillard to the Trailblazers. Then we were joined by Mets Broadcaster Pat McCarthy to talk his first season in the big league booth, the role that fans can play for players, some of the Phillies prospects making and impact and teams they may face in the playoffs. Finally we were joined by Sports Psychology Coach David Essel to talk the mental side of sports from preparation to struggles to raising awareness for others as discussed in his new book Mental Mastery & Maximum performance for Professional Athletes.

As Julie Ertz retires after playing her last game last night for the USWNT, we revisited our interview with her following the Women's World Cup in 2019. We also talked football breaking down the Eagles, talking College football, looking at the Phillies as they head into the playoffs and more.

We started the show talking some NFL and the Eagles win last night to go 2-0. Then we were joined by Tom Housenick of the Morning Call to talk some Phillies as they head to the playoffs including lineup and pitching concerns, before breaking down some of the prospects in the farm system and the season they had. Then we finished the show talking college football.

We opened the show talking some pro and college football and how exciting this time of year is along with the mess that is college football. Then we were joined by writer and author John Eisenberg who joined us to talk about his new book Rocket Men: Black Quarterbacks Who Revolutionized Pro Football.

We talked with former MLB Catcher Ryan Lavarnway about his his new book, career in the majors/minors, & finding himself though the game. Then we revisited our interview with Erik Kratz talking baseball, his journey and his book, Tao of the Backup Catcher.

After talking some NFL Football and baseball, we were joined by author and writer Chris Clarey to talk US Open Tennis before the start of the tournament, new rivalries, the mental side of the game, the entertainment side of sports with the Break Point series and more.

With the NFL preseason rolling along, we were joined by Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro to get a feel of the team and look at some of the position battles on the team. The we took a deep dive into the conference re-alignment chaos and some of the other challenges facing college sports with author/commentator John U. Bacon.
