Starting off the new year talking College Football Playoff and Championship as we are joined by Former Rose Bowl MVP Leroy Hoard. As we take some time with our families during the holidays and celebrating the new year, we brought back some of our favorite interviews for a best of show this week. Then we went back to our interview with Savannah Bananas Dir of Baseball Ops and coach Adam Virant talking about how far they've come, the 2023 world tour and then looked at the upcoming 2024 world tour after.

Like we don't complain enough, this week was our annual Festival show looking at some of the things we like least about sports. In addition, we were joined by Sam Carchidi to talk some hockey and how well the Flyers have been playing this season, what they plan going forward and where the organization stands.

We started the show talking some NFL football and sources for news in sports. Then we were joined by Author Clayton Tutor to talk about his New Book Boston Ball: Rick Pitino, Jim Calhoun, Gary Williams, and the Forgotten Cradle of Basketball Coaches

After our conversation about what might happen in the conference championship games, we embraced the CFP Playoff chaos and welcomed back Fmr. Michigan RB Jamie Morris to break it al down with us. Then Jeff and myself had an interesting conversation about the purity vs. the entertainment of sports these days.

Lots going on in the sports world as we come to the end of the college football season and we're joined by former Michigan RB Jamie Moses to talk CFP Playoff, Michigan/Ohio State, Jim Harbaugh and more. Then we talked some NFL looking at the Eagles and took a few minutes to talk about the SI controversy over AI stories and what it means.

We enjoyed the holiday with family this week but brought back some of our favorite interviews including talking with author John Eisenberg about his new book Rocket Men: The Black Quarterbacks Who Revolutionized Pro Football.We talked the journey to even having black qb's in the league, players that helped change the flawed perception, the role of Philadelphia in giving opportunities and then we talk about John's time covering games at the Palestra at the end. After a few weeks jam packed with guests, finally got some time to talk on the show about all the craziness in the sports world from insane coaching buyouts to suspensions, the Sixers and Flyers being fun, a huge Monday night matchup with the Eagles and Chiefs and more.

First we talked with Johnny Smith, Historian, professor and author of the new book Jumpman: The Making and Meaning Of Michael Jordan which takes a very different look and the life and legacy of Michael Jordan. Then we are joined by former Eagles and Falcons football player Reggie "Truck" Brown to talk about his playing days, time with the Eagles playing with greats like Reggie White and Randall Cunningham, playing at the Vet on the turf and his post playing career using his platform to influence the lives of others.

Started the show talking Sixers breaking down the James Harden trade and how the team looks to start the season. Then we were joined by NJ.com Eagles Beat Writer Chris Franklin to talk some football, break down Eagles/Dallas this weekend and talk about some other NFL news. And finally Jeff's college roommate Bill joined us nearly 40 years later to collect on a bet they made when they were in school.
