Gem and Atsuko Satori, are a unit of two female DJs called PALM BABYS from Tokyo's underground music scene since the summer of 2015. Gem combines a groovy mix between house and disco. Atsuko combines a funky sound of deep house and techno. Their original sound has no genre, and their love for vinyl keeps them rocking the floors of Tokyo. PBS debut their America tour in California, where they played in LA at Dublub Radio, pool parties in Hollywood, and made club appearances around town. In San Fransisco, the duo performed at a party called "Night Life" at the California Science of Academy San Fransisco. They have continued to play since being back in Tokyo at NTS Radio and the Red Bull Studio where they will progress and pursue music and DJing. Mayudepth is a solo project by Mayu Kondo who is based in Japan. From the time she was in school, she began collecting records in Tokyo and New York where she was staying and started her career as a DJ. In 2012 the official mixed album “Electronik Beat Punk” was released as Punkadelix. Starting production of music in the name of a new project "Mayudepth" in 2016, released two remix works for the label "Shiki Kyokai" presided over by DJ Shufflemaster who is an innovator of Japan's techno sound. In January 2018, brand-new EP entitled "Sneakpeek" as Mayudepth. It has been supported by many artists, including Ben Sims and Robert Dietz. Ciel, born Cindy Li, is a producer, DJ, promoter, and radio programmer based out of Toronto, Canada. She currently runs two of the country’s most forward thinking party series (It’s Not U It’s Me and Work in Progress) and hosts a femme & queer - prioritizing radio show each month on n10.as. After spending most of his life in the Midwest, Ryan Scannura moved to Denver, Colorado where he created the ongoing party, Deep Club. The underground party aimed to highlight some of the finest American dance music talent while providing a safe space for people of all backgrounds and genders. In the last five years, Deep Club hosted artists like The Black Madonna, Mike Huckaby, Honey Soundsystem, D’Marc Cantu, Noncompliant, and many others, while simultaneously working hard to nurture its resident DJs and other local talent. The collective spawned a podcast series and a record label, which claims four 12-inch records. As Deep Club pushes into its fifth year, Ryan continues to dj in Colorado and elsewhere, and bring underrepresented artists to Denver. This mix is part of Ryan’s closing set from a Deep Club party in December, 2017 that also featured Roger That, John Tyler, and Beaner. Follow @deepclubdenver

One Child Policy is an LA-based Chinese American producer, DJ and sound designer. Raised by two electronics engineers who were brought up in China during the Cultural Revolution, his fascination with electronic music was sparked when he was only 11. Mixmag named his debut release -- Cultural Transmissions (2017 VRV) -- "exemplary techno" and also named him one of "30 Artists You Need to Hear in 2018." This past summer we employed a caravan of trusted accomplices and traveled to a distant land. The lure of fantastic music, dazzling displays of artistic endeavors, and to join in the pilgrimage of many other like minded individuals made the travels sweet and joyous. Beyond our cherished memories of the happenings, including a few souvenirs to remind us of our journeys, we happened to capture a recording of our dear friends, Melrose, playing live in the ambient tent that we present to you here.
