Seek His Face! Often we seek his approval or His acceptance, both of which He has freely extended within Jesus. But, if we learn to seek His Face and Live in His presence, we learn to live the impossible.

Christmas is a difficult time of year for many. It has a way of leaving us disappointed. We build up expectations for a season that can only come from our Father. I want you to experience happiness this year. Enjoy the gifts you have been given. Not the ones in the pretty boxes, the gifts of people, relationships, and experiences.

There is no greater miracle than the miracle of salvation. The greatest story of all time is the story of the Gospel or the Good News. God has made a way to you. Your Father continually makes a way to you and for you. Choose His Way, today.

God never has and never will abandon us. Even when we are at our worst, He still shows up. He comes to deliver, to save, to restore, and to heal.

All that God has created is carefully and anxiously waiting for a revealing. It groans for the Sons and Daughters of God to appear as they really exist. The image of God is filled with the presence, goodness, and authority of God. Learn to embrace that you are becoming God’s Love upon the earth.

We are not seeing things correctly. We are living our lives in the dark, guided by inadequate and incorrect beliefs about God. Let God change your mind.

Will we trust God or will we make our own way? The choice to trust is the way of faith. It leads us from fear and anxiety into peace, joy, and success.

Do you belong with other believers? Belonging has a “look” to it.  It is much more than simply stating that you are a part of a group of believers. Belonging is demonstrated with a series of practical actions. 

The life of a person with Jesus is one marked by “aloneness”. Even in the midst of a crowd, most feel unknown, uncared for, and outside. When we follow Jesus we release the things that cause loneliness and enter into a relationship and a community where faith, hope, and life thrive!

Love Does… A person who is loved becomes a person who loves. We receive and then we give.

Abide, Remain, don’t wander from this one thing. This is John’s message. It defines everything he shares with us. It is the foundation for your beloved identity.

Jesus is the reason John believed himself to be the beloved disciple. It wasn’t just Jesus' words, but an incredible moment that John almost missed. That even excited and haunted him the rest of his life.

 Jesus is very tender with us, as God is very tender with us. In the story of Peter’s restoration, we come to understand Jesus’ patience and kindness. We also discover the power of Jesus in comparison to our own.

Come together as believers for worship, encouragement, and prayer for the purpose of encouraging the Christian community in Rock Springs and Green River. We can love and encourage each other regardless of the Shingle over the door. We are called and empowered to live like Jesus.

In a world filled with people created in the image of God, ordinary is extraordinary, and extraordinary is mundane.

The Disciple that Jesus Loved was the one closest to Jesus during his trial and condemnation. The Empty Disciple would be dead before the night was done. And the “Effort” Disciple would be in hiding. Today we will call out our imposter and we will love them.

Jesus offers himself. We often desire things. Jesus freely gives things of eternal value. We often prefer things of temporal value. Judas wanted something from Jesus. Was it money, advantage, success, or something else. I can't really know, but I do know that what Jesus was offering, Judas was not receiving. And, that made Judas vulnerable.
