  • Success That Matters

    28/04/2020 Duración: 26min

What does it mean to be successful? How do you measure success in your life? Haggai is addressing the people of Israel when they weren’t having much success. Things weren’t going well for them and they weren’t sure why. Has that ever happened to you? Let’s take a look at God’s principles of success.  If you need prayer or would like to talk with someone Text or Leave a message @ 307-224-2204  Study Guide and Videos Available @ http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermo…/haggai-success-that-matters/  Youversion Link https://my.bible.com/events/7205281  Kids Resources Available @ https://www.pursuegodkids.org/how-to-know-god-better/  Check out ordinaryfaith.net for more information and giving Or Text to Give @ 84321  Text "Welcome" To 307-224-4408 to get on our text list.  Sign up at ordinaryfaith.net for our email list.  Be sure to like and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.  https://www.facebook.com/trustjesus.honorgod.helpothers/  https://www.youtube.com/chan

  • An Altar That Sustains Us

    19/04/2020 Duración: 35min

We live in a place where there is never enough. . . money, toys, gadgets, popularity and recently, toilet paper.  Everything we want in life comes with a sacrifice. What will you sacrifice to get it? The ever-diminishing kingdom of the world charges more and more for less and less. Jesus flipped the idea of an altar on its head!  The altar that should have taken His life, only freed Him from death. Now, the New Testament altar is one of freedom, rest, hope, and most of all LIFE! Anything placed on this altar is released from bondage and returned with exponential dividends. • An Altar That Remakes Us

    12/04/2020 Duración: 43min

A Christian is not supposed to live in the cycle of guilt and shame.  When we come to the altar, we come away with a message of hope, restoration, and the very spirit of God continually inhabiting the believer.  If you need prayer or would like to talk with someone Text or Leave a message @ 307-224-2204 Study Guide and Videos Available @ http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/an-altar-that-remakes-us/ Youversion Link https://my.bible.com/events/7162337 Kids Resources Available @ https://www.pursuegodkids.org/the-resurrection/ Check out ordinaryfaith.net for more information and giving  Or Text to Give @ 84321 Text "Welcome" To 307-224-4408 to get on our text list. • The Altar That Forgives Us

    05/04/2020 Duración: 44min

Jesus’ death was part of an incredible plan of redemption.  God’s plan will grant forgiveness to all who repent, believe and follow Jesus.  There is only one way to become a disciple of Jesus.  Lay down your agenda, life, control and take up His cross.  If you are not living as though Jesus is Lord of your life, it’s time to fix that.  Today’s Altar is that of forgiveness. Will you receive it? Then let go of what fills your heart so that there is room for this pervasive forgiveness. http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/an-altar-that-forgives-us/

  • Man of God - The Warrior

    09/03/2020 Duración: 51min

While the Cowboy might need some help along the way, this is largely an internal journey.  Unfortunately, many never transition out of the loneliness of this stage. No man fights a war alone; battles yes, but the war involves all men.  The Warrior life releases the Cowboy to be part of something larger and more significant.  The Warrior learns to lead others with faithfulness, hope, and courage. http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/the-warrior/

  • Man of God - The Cowboy

    02/03/2020 Duración: 54min

My hope is that men will stand up and bless the world.  Are we Good men? Are we God’s Men? Accept the responsibility of manhood.  Be a man of action; be courageous. Be the man who will teach and lead the next generation of men! http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/the-cowboy/

  • Help My Unbelief

    24/02/2020 Duración: 44min

If we want God to do a work in our lives, we need to be brutally honest and say as this father said, “Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.” http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/help-my-unbelief/

  • An Old Path To A New Day - Live In The Same Victory As Jesus

    17/02/2020 Duración: 50min

Are you living in victory? Are you tackling all of the problem areas that need work?  Are you investing in your faith rather than wasting your life? Truthfully, we are probably winning more than we think we are.  We tend to focus upon what we failed to accomplish rather than rejoice in any steps we made forward. http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/live-in-the-same-victory-as-jesus/

  • An Old Path To A New Day - Live In The Same Way As Jesus

    10/02/2020 Duración: 51min

(apologies for sounds quality) http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/live-in-the-same-way-as-jesus/ Part 2 of 3 - The An Old Path to a New Day Series We have all likely worked for (or lived with) someone who didn't just want something done, but they wanted it done theirway.  It’s also likely that the situation presented some definite challenges to overcome.  The same was true with Jesus and His disciples. Jesus lived in an entirely different way.  Followers of Jesus, or disciples, must learn to live His way. That is what Jesus meant in: Matthew 16:24 (NLT) Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If any of you wants to be My follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow Me. Jesus invites us into His Kingdom which is far different than the place many of us reside.  Today we will talk about how that different Kingdom produces a different way of living.

  • An Old Path To A New Day - Live In The Same Kingdom As Jesus

    03/02/2020 Duración: 49min

In your spiritual life as well as in your physical life, you will have to make a choice; we can choose to go God’s way, or we can choose to go our own way.  Repentance is the path that leads to salvation and is something that God requires of every human being. http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/live-in-the-same-kingdom-as-jesus/

  • Pray First - What To Do When Praying Is Hard

    20/01/2020 Duración: 53min

Last we talked about how to love praying.  We know It is a fight to remember to pray and keep praying, but persistence is worth it. Jesus Often Spoke of Persistence in Prayer. In Luke 11 we find a review of the Lord’s prayer or the “model prayer”. Then, Jesus teaches the disciples to pray with persistence using the Parable of the Friend in Need (Persistent Neighbor).  At midnight, a man asks his neighbor for bread to feed a friend. But It’s midnight, and friendship (while great) only goes so far. Jesus said friendship will probably not be enough. But, shameless persistence will get you what you need. Especially considering that Father’s intentions toward you are far greater than friendship. http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/what-to-do-when-praying-is-hard/

  • Pray First - How To Love Waiting On God

    12/01/2020 Duración: 39min

    30/12/2019 Duración: 52min

  • The Miracles Of Christmas - God Came To Save YOU

    22/12/2019 Duración: 51min

We often celebrate Christmas as a very sweet story, but it’s actually a rescue story.  Until the birth of Jesus, there was no way to escape this dark world. Through the birth of Jesus, God came to save each of us and left us with three gifts in the process. http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/god-came-for-you/

  • The Miracles of Christmas - God Came To Set You Free

    15/12/2019 Duración: 52min

http://ordinaryfaith.net/sermons/god-came-to-set-people-free/ Christmas is about the miracle that Jesus came to set people free from all kinds of prisons. When Jesus went to teach in His local synagogue, that is exactly what He wanted people to know about Him. He was the one who came to set people free and continues to lead people to freedom 2,000 years later!
