Sets which combine different emotions are the one that inspire me the most. That is what I did this week as well. The main drive is of course techno, but I included drones and melodies where I thought they should be. While mixing the set it also reminded me of the Global Underground series which I was a really big fan of. I am a big fan of Nick Warren, and the last part of this set has the same feeling. Ricardo Teixeira, better known as Breynnner, is a Portugese DJ based in Porto. Breynnner already appeared in a previous episode. The podcast has been about Techno from the early beginnings. But besides Techno, I really like exploring the boundaries of what electronic music can be. I follow a lot of artists and I have discovered so much beautiful music in the last decade. Some of the tracks don't fit within the sets I usually create. But I really have the need to do something with it. Aftertouch is a podcast I once created as a playground to experiment, but was not active for a long time. This is a reboot and will be posted in the Low Frequency stream. Aftertouch will focus on Ambient, IDM, Noise, Drones, Soundscapes,... You name it. The purpose is to create a mind blowing experience. Some space where you can loose yourself, or find yourself, be creative, unwind or just the opposite. There will be no taking in the podcast, just music. That should speak for itself. Valerio Bastioni is an Italian DJ, born and raised in beautiful Rome. From the moment he discovered Techno music, he loved it immediately. Valerio Bastioni found his personal sound, which is very hard and fast techno, with a lot of percussion. But he is not afraid of some good acid or a massive classic banger. Valerio Bastioni recently started producing his own tracks and he hopes to release some material very soon.

Axel Martens, better known as Mindflash, is a German DJ and producer from Schortens in the northwest of Germany. He’s djing since 1994 and is the founder of the “Deep in the Groove” and “Deep in Techno” sessions on mixcloud and soundcloud. In the 90’s Mindflash established the “Brain Vibes Team” in the northwest of Germany with a party series there. He was a resident DJ in the techno-club “Shelter” in Wilhelmshaven and organized parties in many locations like “Waking up a dead planet”, “Brain Vibes” and “Phuture Phase”. House and Techno were permanent companions in his life. Since the beginning of 2018 Mindflash is producing guest mixes for several shows and he’s a returning guest on Technochannel’s beats2dance.
