As Christians, the things we say, the things we do and how we carry ourselves have a certain level of influence on those around us and reflect the One we claim as our Savior. While His grace frees us from legalism, Christ's love for us is marked by sacrifice. How can we follow His example?

God knew that we would be people who deal with the emotion of anger. As we continue through Paul's letter to the Ephesians, he cautions us against letting that anger control us and cause division in the body of Christ. But how do we do that?

We've heard that phrase, "the clothes make the man." What we wear…not physically…but spiritually…matters. As we continue through Ephesians, we see Paul's call on those who believe in Jesus Christ to live differently and to wear their new identity in Christ. We should be people who look different from the world.

We may not agree on everything, and that's ok. Diversity is a part of God's Church. But we must remember that God designed for His church to be unified on essential things. So how do we remain unified when we disagree on seemingly important matters?

It's common for churches to call themselves a "house of prayer." But what is the connection between joining together with a church, and the power of prayer? What does this power accomplish, and why did God design it this way?

All of God's children have a calling on their lives. Do you know yours? As we continue through Ephesians, Paul describes his calling, his passion for it, and how he's living it out as an example for us.

Our God is a God who desires peace. Because of His great love for us, He relocates and remakes us to be more like Christ, who He sent to be our Savior. This gift is available to all who believe. So: who are you and where are you today?

We continue our series in Ephesians looking at the ways the promised Holy Spirit is at work in us. May we begin to understand the great power that helps us become more like Christ and accomplish God's will on Earth.

This Sunday, we begin a new series in the book of Ephesians. We'll see how we have a spiritual enemy that will stop at nothing to take us out, but we don't have to be blindsided. Paul tells us what to watch for so that we can overcome and commit our lives to Jesus.

Christmas is that marvelous time of year where we consider God's incredible redemption plan to draw His people back to Himself with the Savior. The Messiah, Jesus Christ. His journey was astounding, holy and overseen by God. This Sunday, we'll examine how God sovereignly leads us on our own journey.

We've come to the point in our study of Nehemiah that the wall is complete. What God has called His people to do has been accomplished. It's time to celebrate! Will we be a people that finds joy in celebrating the presence of God in our lives? Do our lives reflect a heart of worship toward Him?

"What is God's will for my life?" The question is asked frequently by Christians, and it sometimes causes us to worry and wonder if we are doing what God wants us to do with our lives. But if we follow God's desire for us to seek and know Him, and trust that we are given the Holy Spirit, we don't have to leave anything to chance because God makes Himself known to us.

In spite of their historic, continual unfaithfulness, God has proven inexhaustibly gracious toward His people. As an act of covenant renewal, the people of God gather to worship and recommit to obeying His Law.

Scripture is the very word of God, designed to be exactly what God intends to communicate to His people. By it we see that we fall short of the perfect standards God has established for His people. It can be devastating to hear, but take heart, His word also describes God's redemptive plan through Jesus Christ.

Once the job God has called us to is done, it's easy to fall into complacency and think we can coast along. The fact is that we have an enemy who tirelessly seeks to destroy that good work, both from the outside and in. How do we guard our hearts, our lives and the Church against sabotage from the enemy?

We often feel like we're caught in this world's unstoppable current. It rushes past with a roar, ready to sweep us off our feet. But God provides a bedrock for us to stand firmly upon and that's His truth. This Sunday, we'll look at how Nehemiah discovered how God kept him safe when he anchored himself to truth.

God has designed an incredible asset for those who believe in Him, and that's community. Fellow believers, He designed for us to love and relate to each other as family, just as we would love and relate to Him. Here's why it's so important that we stay connected to the Body of Christ.

Spiritual warfare is a fact of life for every believer. But we can take heart, because we serve a God who is capable of equipping us for victory. How do we prepare for the accuser's attacks, and How do we counteract them?

Wherever we are in life, no matter who is in authority, or the challenges we may be facing, we can be assured that God is still in control, and has placed us in our current position for His purpose and His glory. How then should we live? How should we pray?

Israel's rebellion led to their destruction. Their city, their security and their way of life. But we can see the God is a God of redemption, of second chances and restoration for those who turn away from their own ways and turn to Jesus. How do we fix our minds on God so that we can return to Him and be restored?
