The 23rd Psalm is one of the most well-known and beloved passages of scripture. While it serves as a great comfort during difficult times, there are several implications on a deeper level that we would be wise to cling to.

How is it possible that we can have one Bible, and so many denominations? Our views of the authority of scripture affect what we believe about God and His word. At Wellspring, we believe the Bible is the ultimate source of truth, and we'll discuss why this Sunday.

We know that the Biblical goal of our emotions is to help us love God and love others. So how do we deal with the emotion of anger? Does it draw us closer to God and love others appropriately? We'll look at 3 ways we can submit this emotion to the Lord.

Anxiety is an emotion, and one that can cripple an immobilize us if we do not confront it. And like all emotions, God knows we will experience it, and can use it to draw us closer to Himself. How do we take it to Him and how do we get the Lord's peace when we experience anxiety?

This Sunday, we'll see the astonishing conclusion of the parable Jesus told of the prodigal son. We'll see how the heart attitude the young man carried with him nearly destroyed his life, and how through Jesus, we can rid ourselves of self-pity and pride, and live God-honoring lives of gratitude.

This Sunday, we'll examine a story Jesus told of a young man who abandoned his father and family to stray into ungodliness. We'll pull out several principles from this incredible story serving to challenge and equip fathers to live up to the role God ordained for them.

We know the words of the Great Commission ("Go and make disciples..."), and we know that God's desire is to see representatives from every tribe and tongue around his throne. But what does God expect from us, as individuals and as His Church? How do we bring the gospel to all nations and spread His glory throughout the Earth?

God’s glory is very literally the most important—significant—goal and movement of the entire universe. It’s what all things are moving towards! We have a role to play in that, and we get to choose what our role is. One leads to our ultimate satisfaction in life and God receiving the glory he’s due, the other to perpetual dissatisfaction, wondering why we exist as we seek our own glory or glory in lesser things.

What happens when life doesn't turn out the way we hoped? Or if we find ourselves in a place we thought God would never lead us? Will we continue to trust the sovereignty of God and His promises? If you've ever wondered what God is going to do in and through your life, and how to get involved in His process, join us on Sunday.

We begin our summer series with a look at how God expects us to view the various blessings and gifts He provides. Do we serve God, and be a resource for his Kingdom, or do we serve the gift, and turn it into an idol? We'll look at subtle ways these gifts may take a hold of us, how we can shift our perspective, and how we can best serve the Lord.

Paul describes perhaps one of the best known object lessons in scripture: The armor of God. We know what it is, and which disciplines each piece represents, but how do we actually put it to use? We'll look at the armor of God this Sunday and share practical ways you can employ this incredible resource God has provided to all believers.

In honor of Mother’s Day, we will look at several scenes in the Bible depicting Mary's love for her Son, the Savior Jesus Christ. These incredible vignettes offer a glimpse at the unique relationship she and Jesus had, but also mirror the God-given bond between all mothers and their children.

Christians, spiritual warfare is a matter of fact for those who trust Christ as Savior. But God gives us a powerful ally to gain victory in the battles: the Holy Spirit. What actions can we take to partner with the Holy Spirit and relinquish the tendency to put confidence in our flesh?

As we return to our series in Ephesians, we see Paul's instructions to the church as to how we can bring glory to God in the workplace. The way we carry ourselves and the attitudes we show to our supervisors/bosses/coworkers directly reflect the degree of our submission to Christ.

Sunday morning, we join The Church worldwide in celebrating Christ's Resurrection. Why is this such a momentous occasion for those who place their trust in Jesus? We will see three ways that Christ's victory over death means victory for us!

Friday night, we gather together as believers inJesus Christ to both mourn the crucifixion of Christ, but also rejoice in what it accomplished. How can we worship through two seemingly opposite emotions?

Palm Sunday was a day of rejoicing, but also carries an understanding that Christ would be crucified at the end of that very week. Is Christ your King? Do you honor Him as Lord with joyful worship? If not, understand that the day of salvation is at hand.

We complete our two-part series on God's design for the family with a look at the need for children to be obedient to their parents, for parents to lead their kids well, and God's design for that relationship within the home.

The Bible often uses the analogy of a husband and wife in regard to our relationship with Christ. He designed the Church to function this way. This week, we'll look at the roles a husband and wife each have in His design for families.

God created sexuality with a purpose, and it's a powerful one. God's warning in Paul's letter to the Ephesians against misusing it is serious, but the reward for surrendering our sexuality (be it thoughts, words, or actions) to Him is great.
